Overview
- This fight is a boss rush featuring six boss Servants, each of whom come with two HP bars. All bosses share the same two gimmicks: the first is that they become Alter Egos upon reaching Break, and the second is that they apply a 3-turn Critical Rate buff, a 10-turn 50,000 HP buff, and a 1 bar NP Charge upon death. These buffs are applied to all the other bosses, including those still in the backline, but fortunately, they can be removed via buff removal.
- Another important thing to note is that the amount of NP bars possessed by the bosses also changes to Alter Egos’ count of 3 NP bars.
- The bosses’ first health bars range from 92,610 HP (Hokusai) to 110,576 HP (Osakabehime). Their second bars range from 142,884 HP to 165,864 HP with the exception of Kiyohime, whose second bar has 702,956 HP.
- The bosses’ Break effects generally consist of two parts: a powerful self-buff, and a debuff applied to everyone else on the field. Some of these are particularly powerful/annoying, such as Shikibu’s 50% NP Damage Down, Hokusai’s 30% Defense debuff, Ibaraki’s 30% Attack debuff, and most of all, Osakabehime’s 50% NP Drain.
- Although there is no particular kill order, in general, it’d be best to kill off bosses who have reached Break as soon as possible in order to minimize the impact of their self-buff effects.
- It’s also highly recommended to bring along methods of buff removal to remove the enemies’ on-death effects from the equation, making the fight that much easier.
Team Recommendations
- Offensive teams are highly recommended, as these have the capability to quickly finish off a boss when necessary. Defensive teams on the other hand may get punished due to some of the powerful offensive advantages gained by the bosses upon Break, though they would still be able to prevail with enough caution and preparation (and the 100% HP Guts from the event Mystic Code).
- As with all boss rushes, AoE damage dealers have an easier time dealing with this stage. Particularly strong options include Sessyoin Kiara and Amakusa Shirou thanks to their buff removal capabilities, but more commonly used options such as Edmond Dantes would also fare well, especially with the help of the event CE and Mystic Code. Also of note is Parvati, who gains a 50% damage buff from the event.
- Kama’s 100% event damage buff and her anti-Alter Ego gimmick makes her a top single-target damage dealer choice. Other choices include Miyamoto Musashi and Ibaraki Douji, both of whom come with buff removal, as well as other generic damage dealers, provided they have at least neutral advantage against Alter Egos.
- Damage supports, such as Merlin, Scathach-Skadi or Zhuge Liang are essential for fast clear runs, especially as they also provide the NP Charge needed to counterbalance Osakabehime’s Break effect.
