This list gives the best Servants for resisting Instant Death attacks.
Instant Death is a relatively obscure mechanic in FGO, and much maligned by Masters because how sporadically it triggers. Unfortunately now on the receiving end of one particular fight, it happens way more often than one expects.
How Instant Death Works
The way Instant Death works is every instant death NP or skill has an associated activation chance, which is multiplied by each Servant's base Instant Chance %.
For example, if Cu Chulainn attacks Francis Drake with 100% Overcharge Gae Bolg:
- Gae Bolg at 100% Overcharge: 60% Death Chance
- Francis Drake: 50% base Instant Death Chance
- Instant Death will trigger 60% x 50% of the time, or 30% actual trigger rate.
Servants Most Resistant to Instant Death
- For Masters that obtained The Mature Gentlemen CE, it can be equipped to further reduce Death Rate by 60% (80% MLB)!
