Introduction
- The Valentine's 2022 event has arrived! Masters have the opportunity to receive chocolates and gifts from the Servants in their Chaldea!
- This event, similar to last year, features fully voice-acted Valentine's chocolate / gift receipt cutscenes!
- Farm Event Points to obtain Valentine's CEs from Servants! The full Event Point Reward Ladder can be found here.
- Surprise Chocolate: Obtained by gathering Points, allows Masters to receive a Valentine's CE from a random Servant. Valentine's CEs also boost drops by +10%.
- Lock-On Chocolate: Obtained by gathering Points as well, although fewer are available in the Point Ladder. This item allows Masters to receive a Valentine's CE from their Servant of choice!
- A full list of Valentine's CEs for this year is available here!
- There are also a total of three Event Shop currencies () to farm for this event.
- The event's Main Quests (and subsequently, later Free Quests) are time-gated on a daily basis, following the below schedule:
Date | Quests Available |
2/1/2022 00:00 PST | Section 1-2 |
2/1/2022 20:00 PST | Section 3 |

General Tips
- Purchase & Equip the Event Shop CE () ASAP to increase drops, which help clear the Event Point Ladder!
- Sei Shounagon has bonus damage (+100%) and bonus Bond Point Experience (+50%), so bringing her along can help speed up farming!
- Equip to boost Event Shop currency drops!
- Be wary of MLBing the Event Shop CE too early. It is better to have non-MLB copies so the total possible bonus is higher, until 7 copies are reached (1x MLB + 2x Non-MLB = 120% bonus total)
* 4x = +120% drops.
* 1x MLB (requires 5 copies) = +60% drops.
Walkthrough TL;DR
The below is a summary of the general flow of the event. The more detailed walkthrough provides information about enemies / drops to expect from each quest.
Overall, this event is extremely straightforward, where Masters clear Main Quests that unlock on a daily basis, and then farm for Shop and Event Point currency.
General Daily Event Flow:
1) Complete Main Quests available.
2) Clear Free Quests and purchase Event Shop CE ASAP. Redeem Chocolates for Valentine's CEs.
3) Repeat above for each new day.

1 | St 1 (5 AP) | Party Restriction: Mandatory Support NPC. Two waves, the first with three small Berserkers (7-9k HP) and the second with a Rider Servant (50k HP) and two Berserkers (12k HP). Drops 3 stacks bronze currency. Obtain a copy of ! Equip for nodes that drop . Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
2 | St 2-1 (5 AP) | Two waves of all Saber enemies (8k HP 1st wave; 21-40k HP 2nd wave). Drops 1 stack silver currency. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
3 | St 2-2 (5 AP) | Party Restriction: Mandatory Support NPC. A single large Berserker enemy (218k HP). Note they have Demonic trait. Drops 3 stacks bronze currency. Obtain first ! Use before running event Free Quests to give to Friend Supports - you'll gain 10x Mana Prisms, and your support gets 200 FP! Use them liberally; if unused, they are exchangeable for only 10k QP, and in most cases 10 Mana Prisms are more worthwhile. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
4 | Free - Novice (30 AP) | Run once. This node has the lowest drop rates, so it isn't the best farming choice. 1) Purchase the Event Shop CE ASAP and equip to maximize Point drops! 2) Remember to bring Valentine's CEs in extra CE slots to boost Point drops! For first-time Masters, redeem Surprise/Lock-On Chocolates from Event Point rewards to get Valentine's CEs. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
5 | Free - Intermediate (35 AP) | Run once. This node has generally low drop rates. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
6 | Free - Advanced (40 AP) | Run once. This node has the best rates of the starting available Free Quests, so farm this with extra AP until the next quest unlocks. Remember to purchase from the shop when enough gold currency is accumulated to speed up Point farming. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
Note | End of Day 1! Masters should hold off on using AP Fruit for now, since the Free Quest nodes available are rather suboptimal. For Masters who really wish to get a head start, they can farm: - Advanced -> Buy 2x with - Intermediate -> Buy 1x with - Novice -> Buy 1x with Even so, it isn't highly recommended to farm any quest other than Advanced due to lower drop rates, however, especially since the best Bronze, Silver, and Gold nodes will open on ~Day 3, 4, and 5 respectively. |
# | Quest | Notes | Event Drops |
7 | St 3 (5 AP) | Three waves, with the first two being mixes of Archer and Sabers (1st wave ~8k HP; 2nd wave 11-12k HP); the third is a boss wave with a Rider Servant (41k HP) and a Saber and Archer (both 15k HP). At the start of the 3rd wave, the boss applies Taunt and Charm Immune to all allies except self. During this 3rd wave, an effect buffs all enemies' ATK whenever a Knight enemy is defeated. Drops 2 stacks silver currency. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
8 | Free - Expert (40 AP) | Run once. This is a mixed node that drops all three currency at low rates (on average the drop rates are actually slightly worse than Advanced difficulty). Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
Note | End of Day 2! Masters can continue farming Advanced difficulty. If Masters really want to burn some AP at this point, the suggested farming order: - Advanced -> Buy 2x with - Expert -> Buy 1x with & 1x with If you don't get to buying the Bronze/Silver currency shop CEs, don't worry since the best Bronze & Silver nodes will open on the next day and the day after, which are a better use of AP. |

9 | St 4 (5 AP) | Two waves: First wave has two Archers and a Saber (8-9k HP). The second has a Caster Servant (69k HP) and a Saber and Archer (both 27k HP). Be wary that when the 2nd wave starts, the boss will drain the frontline's NP Gauge by 100% and remove 100 Stars. Drops 2 stacks silver currency. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
10 | Free - Spring (40 AP) | Run at least once. This is the best single-currency farming location! Masters can continue farming this node until the next quest unlocks. If not done yet, buy with x200 from the shop and equip it ASAP. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
Note | End of Day 3! Masters now have access to the best Bronze currency farming node. Concentrate on farming the latest Free Quest until the next quest unlocks. |
# | Quest | Notes | Event Drops |
11 | St 5-1 (5 AP) | Two waves of mixed Sabers and Archers (1st wave 9-10k HP; 2nd wave 35-42k HP). Drops 2 stacks silver currency. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
12 | St 5-2 (5 AP) | Two waves, the first with only Archers (10-19k HP), and the second with an Assassin Servant (62k HP) and two Sabers (28-36k HP). The boss has 30% chance of Invincibility for 5 turns, which is rolled on every hit. Since the buff is unremovable, bringing Ignore Invincibility will help make the fight more consistent. Drops 2 stacks silver currency. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
13 | Free - Summer (40 AP) | Run at least once. This is the best single-currency farming location! Masters can continue farming this node until the next quest unlocks. If not done yet, buy with x200 from the shop and equip it ASAP. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
Note | End of Day 4! Masters now have access to the best Silver currency farming node. Concentrate on farming / obtaining any remaining Event Shop CEs using the latest Free Quests until the next quest unlocks. |
# | Quest | Notes | Event Drops |
14 | St 6 (5 AP) | Two waves, the first with mixed Sabers and Archers (14-15k HP), the second with a Foreigner Servant (85k HP) and a Saber and Archer (35-36k HP). Avoid bringing Male Servants, since the enemy Servant will specifically debuff Male Servants' ATK, NP Gain, and Star Drop Rate. Drops 2 stacks silver currency. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
15 | Free - Autumn (40 AP) | Run at least once. This is the best single-currency farming location! Masters can continue farming this node until the next quest unlocks. If not done yet, buy with x200 (x2) from the shop and equip it ASAP. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
Note | End of Day 5! Masters now have access to the best Gold currency farming node. Concentrate on farming / obtaining any remaining Event Shop CEs using the latest Free Quests until the next quest unlocks. |

16 | St 7-1 (0 AP) | Story only. | None |
17 | St 7-2 (5 AP) | Three waves, the first two with three Lancers each (1st wave 12-14k HP; 2nd wave 16-21k HP); the third wave is a lone Berserker break bar Servant (64k, 84k HP). The Berserker boss starts by inflicting a mild Curse on the frontline, and both deals and receives more damage vs Male enemies. On break, they will clear their own debuffs and gain Sure Hit. Drops 3 stacks gold currency. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
18 | Free - Winter (40 AP) | This Free Quest drops all three currencies at decent rates. This node ends up more AP-efficient for mixed currency farming, although if Masters can stack multiple drop bonus CEs for a single currency (at least +2 or higher), then single currency farming is better. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
Note | End of Day 6! Masters have access to the best Event Shop currency nodes, and can concentrate on clearing the Event Shop as desired while filling any remaining CE slots with Point bonus CEs. |
# | Quest | Notes | Event Drops |
19 | St 8-1 (5 AP) | A single wave with a large break bar Archer with 3 HP bars (86k, 97k, 118k HP). The boss inflicts an unremovable debuff on the frontline that drains 5% NP Gauge every turn, and has a passive that Curses when normal attacking. On 1st break, the boss will inflict a larger Curse and decrease HP Recovery by 100% for 3 turns (healing becomes ineffective). On 2nd break, the boss decreases Max HP for the frontline by 3,000 and inflicts a Curse Damage +200% debuff. A helpful field effect every turn will increase the party's NP Gauge by 10% (net 5% with the boss's debuff) and grant 20 Stars. | None |
20 | St 8-2 (0 AP) | Story only. Obtain and a special Valentine's CE! All Free Quests are open at this point. | None |
21 | Free - Time (40 AP) | Run once. This is the best Point farming location. Farm this node once the Event Shop farming is completed, since this node does not drop any of the event shop currencies. Bonus CEs: | Primary: |
22 | Challenge (5 AP) | A challenging encounter will unlock at this point! Two Servants, an Archer with 3 HP bars (324k, 401k, 609k HP) and a Caster with 2 HP bars (370k, 406k HP). The Archer starts with a special buff that can buff your party if they are hit by their NP (aka not Evading/Invincible), although surviving the NP can be difficult. The Caster will apply NP Seal immunity to all allies and start with a max NP gauge, although their NP is more supportive in nature. On the Archer's 1st break: Buff Crit Rate for all allies; On Archer's 2nd break: Clear debuffs and increase NP Gauge by 1 for all allies. On Caster's break: Buffs the Archer with 1 turn of Ignore DEF, Invincible, and MAX NP Gauge. The Caster has a few special skills that can grant a 2-time, 3-turn Evade, drain Crit Stars, and remove buffs. For a detailed guide on this encounter, click here! | None |
Event Completed! | Congratulations, all Main Quests have been completed! At this point, all Free Quests are available, so Masters may farm freely. Most of the limited items are in the Event Point Ladder, so if in a hurry, farming the last Free Quest is fine. Otherwise, it is best to first farm Event Shop currencies until the desired items are purchased, before switching to dedicated Point farming. - No, if only a point ladder clear is desired (to obtain Valentine's CEs); for event shop clears, Maybe.
- Natural Regen AP will be approximately 3980 AP throughout the event.
- Clearing each quest at least once costs 395 AP.
- To clear the Event Point ladder while ignoring the Event Shop, about 2475 AP is required.
- For clearing the Event Shop (no monuments, EXP, or 3* Fous), this will take approximately 4195 AP. This includes clearing the Point Ladder, which likely requires a few runs of the final Free Quest to clean up points.
- For clearing the Event Shop (no monuments, but with Fous and EXP) and Event Point Rewards, this will take approximately 4635 AP.
- For a full Event Shop clear including monuments and Event Point rewards, this total reaches 5635 AP to clear all pieces and monuments. In this case usually by the time the Event Shop is cleared, the Event Point Ladder will also be cleared (unless you have a high number of event Gacha CEs, in which you can run the final Free Quest difficulty for point cleanup).
- The amount of AP required can be reduced with more copies of Event CEs. Additional copies of 4* or 5* CEs must be obtained in the gacha, while 3* CEs can be obtained in the Friend Point Gacha (at a low rate).
- Assumptions for the above AP costs (uses "first timer worst case scenario with no Friend Point Gacha luck", AP reduced if more bonus available):
