Introduction
- The Saber Wars event is a relatively straightforward Event with three event currencies, an event point currency (Altrium), and three types of Event Quests:
- Main Quests that are time-gated (final quest drops on Day 6).
- Free Quests from which Event Points and Event Currency can be farmed, almost all of which are available at the beginning except for the Altrium node, which unlocks on the last day.
- Daily Quests that provide a large amount of Altrium each day, and can only be run once. They will remain available until the end of the event or until completed.
- The only way to boost
event currency drops are using Event Gacha CEs (or the Friend Point Gacha for the 3* Event CE). - The only way to boost
Altrium (event point) drops is by bringing Event Bonus Servants. - The other available Event CEs boost damage during Event Quests for the equipper (
Purely Bloom) or the entire party (
Star of Altria). - The event welfare Servant,
Altria Pendragon (Lily), is obtained by accumulating Altrium. Upon reaching 1,000,000 Altrium, all 5x copies of Altria Pendragon (Lily) will be obtained. - The Main Quests are low difficulty. The Free Quests, however, have enemies with high HP, so bringing Event Damage Boost CEs () is highly recommended.

Do I need to use Apples?
- Maybe. Depending on how many Event Bonus CEs are available, and how many Event Shop items/Altrium rewards are desired, using apples may be needed.
- Natural AP during the event period, 3/13/2020 01:00 - 3/26/2020 20:59 PST is a total of about 3980 AP (assuming no overflow AP throughout the event).
- If only going for all copies of Altria Pendragon (Lily), without regard for clearing the Event Shop or obtaining the rest of the Altrium rewards, this can be comfortably done without using any apples, requiring on average ~1000 AP. When going for this, unlock the last Free Quest as soon as possible, and farm Super Dimension for highest Altrium drop rates. This is not optimal if any Event Shop items are desired, however.
- To fully clear the event shop and Altrium rewards, assuming E rank luck (no Event CEs) and a non-MLB Event drop CE provided by a Friend Support, with only Altria Pendragon (Lily) and Silver Sabers + Friend Support Altria Lily / MHX providing Altrium bonus (+140% total), it can take an average of 8305 AP to fully clear the Event Shop.
- If not clearing out Monuments / Pieces in the Event Shop, with the above conditions, it will be about 5905 AP instead.
- Clearing out rewards for Transistors and Altrium are both the most limiting factors in this event.
- An additional copy of Trueshot (3* CE, available from Friend Point Gacha) or always taking an MLB Trueshot Friend support will reduce the no-monument / piece run to about 5625 AP. Further additional copies will reduce the number of required runs with diminishing returns, with five copies of Trueshot + MLB Friend Trueshot reaching 5025 AP.
- If able to use additional Altrium bonus Servants (such as 4-star or higher rarity Saber Servants), then the AP cost can be further reduced.
- If going for a full Altrium Reward clear and full Transistor shop clear + no Monuments/Pieces, it will still be somewhat difficult to avoid using Apples without having multiple Event Bonus Servants with +20/30/50% Altrium bonus and a few copies of Trueshot.
