Overview
-
The challenge quest for Revival: Saber Wars is a single-wave stage featuring seven boss Servants. Unlike most other challenge quests, this stage is fairly straightforward mechanic-wise; instead, it can be summarized as a damage race, as all the bosses have high HP values as well as varying amounts of NP bars.
-
The stage’s only gimmick is that two of the seven boss Servants arrive with special, unremovable buffs. These two Servants are Lu Bu, whose buff increases ATK, DEF, and fills one extra NP bar per turn, and Nitocris (Assassin), who gains increased ATK, DEF, and Critical Rate.
-
It is recommended to eliminate Lu Bu as quickly as possible (unless other enemies’ NP bars are near full), as his Berserker modifier coupled with the increased ATK allows him to deal a lot of damage even with his normal attacks.
-
As with most boss rushes, the main theme of the stage is to eliminate each enemy before they can unleash their NPs, all of which deal enough damage to easily eliminate the Master’s Servants. When enemy NP bars are filled, extra attention should be given towards those with AoE NPs: Nezha, Francis Drake, Atalante, as well as Nitocris (Assassin).
-
Eliminating the first three bosses simultaneously is recommended, as it would result in Lu Bu and Atalante having the same NP timing and making them more manageable via use of party-wide Evasion or Invincibility.
Team Recommendations
-
AoE damage dealers, especially those with supereffective modifiers (Gilgamesh, Nikola Tesla) as well as Berserkers (Minamoto no Raikou) are highly recommended for this stage, as they allow Masters to reduce the HP bars of multiple enemies simultaneously. Thanks to the event bonus, Saber Servants such as Altria Pendragon and Altria Pendragon (Alter) are also great options, though they may need slight assistance against the stage’s two Archer-class bosses.
-
As the main challenging aspect of the quest comes from the enemies’ inflated HP stats, utilization of event CEs greatly reduces its difficulty.
-
Damage support Servants Merlin and Zhuge Liang, along with their lower rarity alternatives are also very helpful as always, with Zhuge in particular offering a much smoother start for damage dealers with the event CE. In the case of Arts-oriented damage dealers, Tamamo no Mae is a valuable ally thanks to her Arts Performance Increase and NP Drain.
-
Servants with party-wide Evasion/Invincibility skills such as David and Tristan are able to provide an extra line of defense should the team be unable to kill a certain target on time.
-
Taunting Servants (Mash Kyrielight, Leonidas, Georgios) may also be brought along, ensuring the survival of important Servants against single-target enemy NPs (Billy or Rama).
-
With properly supported teams, the AoE damage dealer should generally be enough to defeat all enemies, but in cases where they are not sufficient, single-target Casters and Last Stand Berserkers can be used to ensure the kill for the final boss, which is Nitocris (Assassin).
-
The Mystic Code pick for this stage should be tailored to the team’s needs, but in general, it is best to use more offensively-oriented Mystic Codes: Chaldea Combat Uniform provides access to powerful switch-in strategies, while Mystic Code: Chaldea and Anniversary Blonde grant direct, substantial damage boosts as well as emergency defensive options.
-
Several Servants are capable of soloing this quest with the assistance of event CEs. See the Video Links section for more details!
