An Old Spider Spins Webs of Memory (Chaldea Boys Collection 2021) - Walkthrough

• The Chaldea Boys Collection event gets a full-on Event this year, complete with an Event Shop, and Free Quests with currencies to farm!
• There are three Event Shop currencies () to farm for this event.
• As a part of the login campaign, all Masters can also redeem one free Event CE of choice using the CBC2021 Special Invitation!
• If having trouble deciding which CE to pick, here are some tips + an effect table to help Masters make their selection.
• This event is time-gated, with a new Main Quest chapter being released on a daily basis. The full release schedule is below:

General Tips

• Make sure to equip the corresponding Event CEs to maximize drop bonuses when attempting Event Quests!

• All Male + 'Other' Gender Servants will have a +50% Damage Bonus during the event! Bringing them as damage dealers can help speed up the farming process.

If having trouble deciding which CE to pick for the CBC2021 Invitation exchange, consider:

• TL;DR: Select a 5* CE for best return if Masters have no personal preference.
• Rarity: CEs can also be obtained via the Event Gacha, but that is the only other way to obtain them. This means that the 5* SSR CEs will be more difficult to obtain via gacha simply due to the base gacha rates (4% for 5* CE; 12% for 4* CE; 40% for 3* CE -- this is for all CEs in the pool, not just the rate up CEs).
• Bonus: Each CE boosts Event drops, with 5* boosting the Gold currency, 4* boosting the Silver currency, and 3* boosting the Bronze currency. Depending on which Event Shop items are desired, Masters can also make a selection based on which currency they would like to prioritize.
• Aesthetic: Masters can also select based on Servants featured in CEs. Art on all nine CEs are excellent, and one of the best paths of minimal regret is to go with the CE that has your favorite Servant or your favorite art.
• If still undecided, selecting a 5* CE is the best choice given the highest amount of stats and yield the most QP/Mana Prisms if for some reason one wishes to burn their limited CE (although this is not suggested).

Taking a look at the CE selection and their effects below:

5* CE choice:

• The Dantès Files: The Case of the True Mastermind is probably the best choice, particularly if the Master already has a strong Quick DPS Servant (bonus points for owning Skadi). The CE will enhance NP Gain and Quick effectiveness, both of which can help improve looping performance, while the critical damage bonus will make the stars generated worth a bit more.

4* CE choice:

• Teacher and Me and Glorious Cherry Blossoms are both excellent choices, with the former providing a higher effective damage boost on NP turns, while the latter having a better ATK stat and better critical performance.

3* CE choice:

• Going for a 3* CE isn't recommended, since they can technically be rolled for even in the Friend Point Gacha.
• If Masters really wish to get a 3* CE using their CBC2021 ticket for gameplay reasons rather than one of the above reasons, it's still not suggested, but...
• Trojan Bar is probably the best choice, providing a handy 1% (or 2% if MLB) NP Gauge per turn. It's a tiny amount, but if alternatives such as Prisma Cosmos / Afternoon Party / Innocent Maiden are unavailable, it's an option that builds up NP over turns, and can be useful in stall scenarios, which can be a strong tactic for beginning Masters.

• For just the Main Quest and completing all Free Quests once for the first clear reward, No. For a shop clear (Monuments or not), Yes.

• Natural Regen AP will be approximately 2260 AP throughout the event. This event is shorter than the usual event.
• A first time clear for all Main/Free Quests is 270 AP, and can technically be done in a single day.
• For clearing the Event Shop (no monuments, 3* Fous, or EXP), approximately 2630 AP will be required.
• For clearing the Event Shop (no monuments), approximately 3630 AP will be required to clear the shop.
• For a full Event Shop clear including monuments, this total reaches 4870 AP to clear all pieces and monuments.
• The amount of AP required can be reduced with more copies of Event CEs. Additional copies of 4* or 5* CEs must be obtained in the gacha, while 3* CEs can be obtained in the Friend Point Gacha (at a low rate).
• Assumptions for the above (uses "first timer worst case scenario with no Friend Point Gacha luck", AP reduced if more bonus available):
