Overview
- The second boss of the Shimousa Pseudo-Singularity, this Disco Inferno revolves around Archer of Inferno's stacking Burn effects, while Masters manage her strong damage output.
- Miyamoto Musashi is mandatory to field on the frontline. (lv75, first two skills only). She has type disadvantage in this encounter, and will likely fall quickly (if not in one crit). Consider using Order Change to switch her with a backline Servant.
- Due to Archer of Inferno's single target nature, and the various means to deal with her Burn effects, this fight is of medium difficulty. The battle can be cleared by Silver rarity Servants (see Video section)
- The Boss’s Single Target NP deals very high damage, and will also double the amount of Burn damage sustained by the victim.
- Archer of Inferno will set everyone on fire. Every time Archer of Inferno uses a normal attack, she will add a Burn debuff to her target (100 damage per turn). These can stack, and burn damage can quickly build up over time, especially after she NPs
- After Breaking her first HP Bar, Archer of Inferno will inflict a large Burn debuff (2000 damage per turn!). This can be cleansed or resisted, but otherwise can prove lethal.
- Archer of Inferno will critically hit often as she gains a double helping of Critical Chance Up with each cast of her 2nd skill.
Team Recommendations
- Debuff Cleansing is very effective at circumventing Archer of Inferno's AoE Burn debuff on Break.
- Given how powerful her NP is, and how Archer of Inferno can unleash a flurry of critical hits, Hard Survival is excellent at weathering her critical damage.
- Naturally, ST Lancers are ideal to combat Archer of Inferno with, with bonus points if they have both hard survival and debuff cleansing . AoE Lancers are naturally a good alternative.
- Using the Mystic Code: Chaldea Combat Uniform for its Order Change is effective to have a better supported frontline. Masters could also simply hope Archer of Inferno takes her out, as her damage contribution will be very poor while out on the front line.
- Alternatively the Atlas Academy Uniform can cleanse any allies as well if Order Change wasn't used.
- Taunt Servants can buy a lot of extra time, and absorb any burn debuffs or NPs meant for the primary DPS.
- Supports with debuff cleansing are useful to clear the 2000 damage burn, with Raikou (Lancer) as the only current Support Lancer to be able to cleanse allies. Otherwise, Saint Martha, BB, and Medea/Charles Henri-Sanson are all cheap and accessible alternatives - although the debuff is not that detrimental to fully give up a lot.
Bonus Bond Points Advice
- Much like the previous duel, Masters are not very restricted by the bonus bond point condition.
- In fact, Servants like Cu Chulainn are highly effective at absorbing the damage done by Archer of Inferno, especially as Cu Chulainn can also cleanse any burn effects.
- Nonetheless, try to field a combination of selfish Lancers and Lancers with team support. If Masters lack any Lancers with abilities to do so (like Elisabeth Bathory or Raikou (Lancer), Archer Servants such as David are decent alternatives.
- Lastly, Taunt Servants such as Leonidas can buy some valuable turns or even sacrifice himself for an NP.
