Introduction
- Note: The Walkthrough is still being updated (29/7) - please refresh in a while to see recent updates such as the post-story completion Challenge Quests.
- Race with the various teams to the end of the Dead Heat Summer Race! The first part of the event involves 4 races to the finish line, with the next race starting at the heels of the last.
- Masters collectively progress the Main Quest by completing "Cheer On" Quests (Free Quests). Each time a "Cheer On" Quest is completed, that team will receive points to propel them further ahead.
- All teams need to reach the finish line for each race.
- Each racing team competes with one another, as only the top 3 teams will rewards all Masters (regardless of who you support) with their associated Ascension Items.
- In addition, the winners (and the collectively winner of all races combined) will receive a special voiced scene as well
- Masters can see the alternate scenes after the event ends.
- A second part of the event will unlock a week after Part 1 and will require Part 1 completion to access.
Acquiring Ishtar (Rider)
- Ishtar (Rider) is rewarded as a temporary Servant at the beginning of the Event. Masters can unlock her permanently during Part 2.
- Ishtar (Rider)'s ascension materials are available in the Event Shop, although additional copies of her can only be acquired in Part 2.
- Ishtar (Rider) will be available again during this event's rerun next year.
Key Assumptions
- There is no point in completing the lower level difficulties as there is no clear reward.
- When farming for the shop, always farm nodes that drop only one type of item, regardless of your bonus, as the total drops seem to be higher for the original run of this event.
- Shop CEs will (save for Masters with massive stocks of MLB gacha CEs) always save you AP by buying them, and they also help more in the rerun.
- Always use a specific gacha CE over a shop CE for higher bonuses.
- Make use of servant bonuses! Summer 2019 servants give +2 to all drops while Summer 2018 and some specific Event Bonus Servants grant a +1 bonus. (For a full listing, see the accordion below)
- Use Boost Items to double QP earned after the round! Buster boosts Nero-Altria and Raikou, Arts boosts Helena and Nitocris (Assassin), and Quick boosts Fran and Nobu. Masters will receive 10,000 QP times the points earned.
- Try to use up all the boost items durings the race, as after the ends Masters can no longer gain QP from them (except a trade-in after the event is over for 10.000 QP.)
- While the best farming nodes aren't available until after the race, the QP rewarded compensates Masters for that. Masters thus trade QP for better drop rates (both Event Currency and Ascension Items).

"Cheer On" Quests Summary
"Cheer On"(free) Quests in Summer 2019 Part 1 happen in four rounds. Once a round has completed, quests from previous rounds will no longer be accessible until the fourth race ends! Each Round's Free Quests also can have special features.
- Round 1: No field effect.
- Round 2: Front line Servants take 300 HP Damage at the start of each turn. This damage can cause death.
- Round 3: Front line Servants all receive an Arts Card effectiveness buff.
- Round 4: All enemies in this round have the [Male] and [Greek Mythology Male] trait.
Please note that the best farming nodes also changes in each round! A summary table of the drops for each round is shown below.
