What kind of skill do you like/dislike most ?

^For me, my most favorite skill is “Star Absorption” skill. It’s annoying when sometimes the amount of stars is high but the supports take almost of it lol . With this skill, the crit is almost guaranteed if there are enough stars and once it crits it doubles everything. One could say that it’s signature skill of some popular servants like Jalter, Raikou, Lancelot,...

The skill I don’t want is “Debuff Resistance”. I don’t know about future content but this skill seems useless for me, I rather my servants have “Debuff Immunity” or “Debuff Remover”.

So, what about you? Do you like 1 turn gg skills like Burst/Arts/Quick up, survival skills like evade, gut or anything else?

I personally hate self-only debuff removing skills, mostly because when said person is stunned or similar they can't actually use it to clear themselves...and that's the most valuable thing debuff removal can be used for. In a world where enemies don't have cooldowns, removing that stun on yourself would be a valuable action to be capable of.

I like debuff resistance as a passive skill, but as an active skill its terrible unless tied to a legitimately good other effect. Mostly because once again, enemies laugh at the cooldowns you're saddled with.

Then there's stuff like the generic Instinct skill...I feel like that skill should have been made a "this character gains X crit stars each turn" passive rather than an active skill that just dumps some amount of crit stars on everyone. Amadeus' skill outright laughs at Instinct, and other servants with similar skills have other effects tied to them that make them better choices. Finally, why the heck is Instinct an active skill to begin with? Do people consciously have to toggle on whether their instincts are working in the Fate universe? The description of it in everything I've read in other sources makes me want to lean towards it being a passive effect.

As for skills I like, card effectiveness increases (particularly the ones that last multiple turns and/or affect other servants like Helena's) and skills that have effects the servant can actually make good use of and that do unique things (Musashi is a perfect example of this.)

Can’t remove debuff after getting stunned is such a demerit xD. Ya, Memelin has an OP passive skill equals to half of Prisma Cosmos CE so i think in the future there’ll have high chance another OP support has passvie skill equals to half of 2030 effect hehe.

I agree that Star absorption skills are handy.
Personally I prefer skills with longer durations rather than one-turn bursts though times like this I use Shakespeare extensively.
I like it when Servants have some form of survival skills as a safety net in case things go wrong. Cu and Herc suits my tastes.

I dislike skills that rely on rng, unless you can improve the odds.
It's annoying when skills fail when I need them the most.
Hmm. Might be better to say that I like stability without variation between my skill uses.
This also covers Hans, his NP is great but most of the time buffs miss...

It can be vexing when the skills have far too many effects so you have no idea when it would be good to use them. A good example for me is TamaLancer (only tried her as support).

Concerning enemies, I guess I like it when they use a burst skill for their final action during the turn but dislike evades or when they stack skills. Spriggans are the first that comes to mind.

Yeah, i hate RNG skills too :(. I personally think 20% buff unsuccess of Hans is such a HUGE demerit. Some servants have “Increase Buff success rate” skill like Ozymandias and Chloe can fix it but the problem is their star absorption is high :( Need another OP caster for this niche.

I've been thinking of using a support Ozy with Hans or Nero, it would remove those pesky issues but I feel it would be a downgrade for Ozy to act as a support especially as you mentioned the star weight.

Isn't Chloe's skill limited to Illya or something when the interlude arrives?

Hmm, I remember that new masked JP servant has the buff success rate icon when one of the skills are used. Perhaps he would be a better choice when we get that far since his other skills are also meant for support.

A pity there aren't any CE's that can help.

Edit: Read up on his skills. 40% buff chance BUT his third skill is far too good to not use it on himself.. 60% chance to increase crit star gain and damage by up to 50% for 3 turns.

Hmm. I just read through his skills. His skillset is amazing, i think his tier is even higher than Caster Gilamesh. No doubt some people on reddit hyped about him.

One word: "GUTS"
Ain't nothing manlier than coming back from the dead and finishing what you started.

Yeah, except I find guts sometimes unreliable as they revive, only to get hit again in the same turn and die so it does no good.

They wont hit you again if your the last servant left, besides wheres the thrill if your not in danger?

Martha (Ruler) Holy maiden of the waterside. The Increase of NP is fine but Increase attack only when near water sucks.

Brave Elizabeth Legend of the Crimson Hero, has anybody actually used this?

Agree with Martha ruler, the near water requirement is super hard to be met outside of summer event itself.

As for Legend of the Crimson Hero, I quite like that skill though. It is the manifestation of Elizabeth's trolling side, which makes perfect sense after seeing what she did to Archimedes... Just be glad that at least it does not kill the other team members.

My most favorite skill is Golden Rule ( both can be used for Offensive and Defensive ways ). Maybe they can add a second or third effect for the skill ( a little upgrade ), especially if that skill is used by underrated servants.

What i hate the most is '' Ultra Instinct '' skill, sigh it's a pretty bad skill and most servants that use this skill technically only has 2 active skill that they can use.
At least if DW care for something like this, they must upgrade it ( non-guaraanteed Crit + eating a skill slot + used by non Crit based servants + underrated servants + servants with low hit counts = it totally SUCKS ).

Mozart even has one prime example of using the ''proper'' way of this skill. He has Guaranteed crit skill for all party members.
Not some unreliant Instinct skill that eat a skill slot.

They must fix some old servants with a problems like this or something that has been mentioned by you guys instead of adding another new servants everytime. it's pretty positive things to give them a little critique, though.

A little animation update is appreciated too, especially older servants with '' light Orb attack animation '' and '' jumping smash '' animations.

I see xD. I think the only proper way of using this skill is having three of them actived at the same time 😂

I just don't like boring skills that make very little difference to the game overall, like those that specifically target very specific enemy types that you almost never find (Boudica's first skill - anti-roman wtf), and Jeanne's true name revelation which is just about the worst way to deal with an enemy NP, and caster Gilles' mental corruption which is borderline useless. I also dislike skills that don't match what the servant can do, like Arjuna being given clairvoyance when he only has one quick card with 2 hits on it. Complete waste of time, makes zero difference.

As for what skills I like, there's a lot more to choose from, but my favourite single skill in the game is Ozy's protection of the sun god since it's so unique in what it does, and so useful too.
