Question on NP if I hv multiple copies of a servant and NP overcharge

I am quite confused over the diff between NP overcharge when i stack diff servants' NPs in a battle vs a Servant with NP2 and above (i.e more than one copies of the same servant) and his NP can charge beyond 100%. Are the two the same in terms of effect and damage?

Eg, if i have an Ozy with NP2 and I managed to charge his NP gauge to 200% and fire his NP off vs I have an Ozy who is only NP1 but I fire his NP off in the 2nd slot after another servant's NP is fired....are those 200% the same?

The overcharge percentage doesn't affect damage; NP level does. An NP2 on Ozy for example, even at 100% charge will deal more damage than NP1 Ozy. Placement order (which order the cards are selected) have no affect on NPs, so in most cases it's best to put them first in a chain.

Overcharge only affects the additional effect that NPs have. In Ozy's case, an overcharge of 200% will reduce the opponent's defence by 30% instead of the 20% at 100% charge.

Oh thanks for the quick reply! Being playing the games for the past 2 months ....finally understand it now :)

This also makes me feel better for having pulled Ozy again in the paid gacha rather than having a new SSR servant..was feeling quite down actually having another copy of him after already gotten him from his banner.

Have 2 same SSR actually a good things if you really like that SSR,since np2 Will make their np stronger. But if i can choose i still prefer different ssr

Hey good for you! Ozy is actually an exceptional servant so having him at NP2 isn't bad at all. Too bad you didn't get a new servant though.

An NPs damage is based on NP level while overcharge only affects an NP's secondary effects (in this case, DEF down). You can check your servant's profile to check which effect scales with OC (overcharge).

Ofc there are OC effects that give damage amplification (e.g Gilgamesh vs servants, Karna vs Divine, Jack vs females, Euryale vs Males) so in their case getting 200% OC gives a damage boost so long as you're fighting the right opponents.
