Revival: Onigashima - Ushi Gozen Raid Guide

Do not forget: Exploit wave 1 to generate as much NP gauge as possible.

Due to her Berserker class, the outgoing damage from Ushi Gozen is going be very high.

But, the adds that accompany Ushi Gozen are both weak, do not buff her or debuff you and have a 6(!) NP charge bar.

Ushi Gozen is very prone to use her turn to activate her skills. She will therefore not attack as often as one might expect. Her skills are very powerful however, especially her team-wide NP charge.

Ushi Gozen's NP is extremely lethal, and basically a total party-kill without damage prevention.

This raid can be one-turned, usually by combining one AoE NP and one ST NP. There are many possible Buster options with AoE NPs (Nobunaga and Gilgamesh stand out), but for Quick teams, Alexander provides both the AoE damage and additional Quick support.

For Masters who can't one-shot her, the key to this raid is to properly control the fight by taking out the additional adds when it is most appropriate. Leaving Ushi Gozen alive on her own can easily lead to her using her NP charge skill every turn.

Yet, Ushi Gozen has a very large amount of different traits for Masters to exploit. Many of the recommended Servants can improve their damage against her one way or another and remove significant chunks of her HP bar with a single NP.

The presence of an NP gauge charge on Ushi Gozen makes it difficult to predict when she NPs if she is on her own. NP seals, stuns and charms can help bring some predictability. Sometimes using them a turn earlier than usual is safer when Ushi Gozen is by herself.

As per usual, consider using beans to speed things up and reduce risks in general. By abusing traits and beans, it's very possible to simply delete Ushi Gozen in one or two NPs.

Try to field set-ups with two Servants that provide offensive buffs for one main DPS with Golden Sumo equipped. Because of all the damage buffs from the event, potential additional bean buffs and Ushi Gozen's Berserker class, Ushi Gozen can be killed very quickly with the right set-up.

But for new Masters, don’t leave the main DPS entirely undefended, Berserker attacks hurt and Ushi Gozen can boost her critical hit chance.

Ideally, a set-up would be Main DPS / Support / Offensive Hybrid or Main DPS / Support / Support. An AoE ability on one of the Servants would be useful for clearing the Stones quickly, but not necessary.

Field additional Supports or Hybrids in the backline as generally the Main DPS will not fall first.

The Chaldea Combat Uniform is great for bringing a healthy combination of damage and survival. For Masters with Servants that abuse Ushi Gozen's traits, exploiting Order Change to gather more buffs for the main DPS is very effective.

Mystic codes with an evasion or invulnerability are somewhat harder to use due to Ushi Gozen’s NP gauge boost.
