Overview
- The Nanmei Yumihari challenge quest consists of two Servants: Kyokutei Bakin, a Rider (270k, 356k, 456k HP) and Katsushika Hokusai, a Foreigner (224k, 304k, 410k HP).
- Both enemies apply stacking debuffs with each attack, which can quickly stack up Quick or Arts Resist debuffs. Once a Servant reaches 7 Quick Resist or 7 Arts Resist debuff stacks, they are inflicted with Charm for 1 turn and all debuff stacks of that type are removed from them.
- Bakin starts with 4-time 5-turn Evade, so bringing some method of Sure Hit or Ignore Invincible will be helpful for dealing with her. She also debuffs the party's Crit Damage, and debuffs Hokusai's Arts performance.
- Hokusai starts with perma debuff immunity and a 3-turn 50% DEF buff. She also will debuff NP Gain for the party, and debuff Bakin's Crit Rate.
- Bakin's first break buffs her own Crit Damage, debuffs DEF for the party, and inflicts a stack of her Quick Resist debuff on the entire party.
- Bakin's second break removes 1 defensive buff from a random party member, removes 30 Stars, buffs her own Crit Rate, and she will now apply an additional Quick Resist debuff stack when attacking.
- Hokusai's first break buffs her ATK and grants her Evade for 3-times, 5 turns, and inflicts a stack of her Arts Resist debuff on the entire party.
- Hokusai's second break will drain the party's NP Gauge by 50%, increases her own NP Gauge to MAX, buffs her own NP Strength, and she applies an additional Arts Resist debuff stack when attacking.
Team Recommendations
- AoE Alter Ego Servants are a good option for this, given that they have Class advantage against both enemies (Rider x1.5, and Foreigner x2.0 damage).
- Note that Berserkers aren't as favorable for this due to disadvantage vs Hokusai (Foreigner), although they can still work.
- Trait Bonus Servants also work well. Notably, Taisui Xingjun has anti-Human attribute bonus damage, which applies to both enemies, and is also Alter Ego Class, making him a great choice.
- Ignore Invincible or Sure Hit Support is helpful to deal with the enemies' Evade effects (at battle start for Bakin, and after break for Hokusai). It can be troublesome to deal with their multi-hit Evade skills otherwise.
- NP Gauge and Damage Support is helpful as always to improve the damage dealt and ease of NP usage for the damage dealer. The usual suspects of Castoria, Tamamo, Koyanskaya, Merlin, Oberon, Skadi, and Waver are all great choices depending on the damage dealer's Card color.
