Reward: Intuition A > Resplendent Journey EX
With this Interlude, Arthur Pendragon has been relieved of the Intuition curse. The skill now provides double the critical stars it initially provided, as well as giving him a Critical Strength buff for 3 turns of up to 50%. The buff is not necessarily entirely game-changing, but does enhance his critical performance noticeably, making his second skill much more consistent and useful.

Osakabehime has the appearance of a Quick Support. Quick teams tend to be adept at generating Critical Stars, although prior to this upgrade, she was oddly lacking the ability to provide Critical Strength buffs to allies. With this Interlude, her defensive Morph skill now gains an additional 3-turn Critical Strength buff to all allies of up to 50% in value, which helps both in her performance as a Support and when going at enemies alone for Masters who opt to run the hikkikomori solo. This buff is a welcome buff for all Masters with Osakabehime.

Minamoto-no-Raikou's star gather skill now additional gains a Critical Strength boost of up to 60% for 3 times over 3 turns, giving her critical strikes increased deadliness. Her performance as a Buster Crit Servant is only further enhanced by this buff, which is very welcome in a time where Buster has otherwise been looking on in envy at the Critical performance of Quick teams in the Skadi meta. Users of Raikou will also have an upcoming NP Upgrade to look forward to, although that will be arriving in about a year.

MHXA's snack repertoire receives an upgrade, with her self heal skill gaining an 1,000 HP recovery per turn effect at base (which is further boosted by her HP Recovery Amount buff on the same skill). This is a minor but helpful boost to her sustainability. Of greater note, she also gains a 1-time Critical Strength boost, effective once on each of her card colors (within 3 turns). The value of the boost is modest at 30% max, although it is still very much welcome. Masters with MHXA would be served well by providing her with this new batch of sweets.

The Assassin of the Nightless City receives a very handy NP Upgrade, coming with the standard ST Quick damage boost of +400% at all levels, as well as the added effect of removing buffs from the enemy (albeit after damage). Buff removal is a handy effect, which can remove undesirable buffs on bosses in particularly challenging quests. Unfortunately, it does not occur before damage, so Evade/Invincible effects or any DEF boosts will still affect the damage dealt by the NP, but it is still effective against Guts. For all cases, at the very least the buffs will be removed afterwards so they will pose less of an issue moving forward, assuming the buffs were not unremovable. The upgrade is overall a very solid one for the temperamental Assassin.
