Introduction
- Dive deep to explore uncharted territory in the latest Imaginary Scramble event! This event features a new Exploration system, along with the usual Event Shop, and an Event Point ladder that is cleared with exploration progress.
- Three event shop currencies (), as well as three exploration currencies () will be available for farming from Free Quests. Exploration currencies are used for exploration, which is required for Main Quest progression!
- Exploration will unlock after a the initial Act 1 (1/2) Main Quest is cleared. For information on the Exploration system, check out the Exploration Walkthrough section for tips! Do note that every individual player's map node placement is slightly randomized, so there is no single route that works for every player.
- The AP cost of Main Quest + all Free/Exploration Quests cleared at least once is approximately 870 AP, while the expected 100% Exploration AP cost (assuming all bonus is from supports) is approximately 4000 AP. Note that since maps are randomized, this can vary slightly, and is estimated with a conservative estimate (see Exploration Strategy section for the estimate, measured in units of Osakabehimes). Exploration AP cost can be reduced if more Event Bonus Servants are available.
- The Event Shop CE for this event doesn't provide any drop bonus, but does boost Damage by +100% (+200% if MLB), which can come in handy for clearing quests more quickly.
- Note that this event is also time-gated, following the below schedule:

- Event Bonus Servants provide drop bonuses to Exploration Currencies (), which are crucial for advancing the Main Quest! They also gain a damage boost and bonus Bond EXP during event quests!
- Event Bonus CEs will grant various bonuses. Gacha CEs providing drop bonus for shop currencies (); the Event Shop CE provides an additional Damage boost!
The below is a summary of the general flow of the event. This event generally alternates between Main Quests and Farming/Exploration; the detailed walkthrough provides guidance what enemies to expect, as well as information about drops and CE suggestions for each quest.
The overall flow is Main Quests > Free Quests > Exploration > repeat, with time gates between individual Main Quest chapters.
Walkthrough - Day 1:
1) Clear Main Quests up to Act 1 (1/2). First exploration method unlocked (Osakabehime).
2) Farm Free Quests for exploration materials. Farming Beginner (Saber node) drops both materials required for Osakabehime's exploration.
3) Explore the Sector 1 map until Exploration Points x8000 obtained to unlock the next Main Quest.
4) Clear Main Quests up to Act 1 (2/2). Continue exploring to reach 13,000 Points to unlock the next section (also time gated). Full exploration of Sector 1 caps out at ~26,000 points.
Walkthrough - Day 2:
5) Clear Main Quest Act 2 (1/4).
6) Farm Free Quests for exploration materials. Beginner or Gunboat (requires 17k points) drops Osakabehime's exploration materials.
7) Explore the Sector 2 map (or more of Sector 1 if not completed) until 22,000 points obtained.
8) Clear Main Quest Act 2 (2/4). Second exploration method unlocked (Raikou)! Raikou and Osakabehime's exploration efficiency are roughly equivalent (average two dead panels per use), but can be used in combination to increase coverage due to their shape (Raikou -> Osakabehime at tip of plus sign makes it so there is only one dead panel).
9) Continue exploring and farming Free Quests as required for more exploration points.
10) Clear Main Quest Act 2 (3/4), unlocks at 27,000 points.
11) Clear Main Quest Act 2 (4/4), unlocks at 32,000 points.
12) Clear Main Quest Talk 1, unlocks at 40,000 points.
13) Continue exploring (next quest requires 48,000). Full exploration of Sector 2 caps out at ~48,100 points (74,100 including previous Sectors). CAUTION: The ε Epsilon enemy shadow is likely too difficult to defeat now; save it for later!
Walkthrough - Day 3:
14) Clear Main Quest Act 3 (1/6). Third and final exploration method unlocked (Lambda)! Lambda's exploration method efficiency is the highest (can easily average zero dead panels per use if used in succession). However, it doesn't always work very well with Osakabe / Raikou's exploration, leaves some difficult-shaped leftover regions, and isn't great close to a wall or corner.
15) Farm Free Quests for exploration materials as needed. Gunboat is good for Osakabehime's exploration; Destroyer is good for Raikou's exploration materials.
16) Explore the Sector 3 map (or prior maps if not completed) to reach point thresholds.
17) Clear Main Quest Act 3 (2/6), unlocks at 57,000 points.
18) Clear Main Quest Act 3 (3/6), unlocks at 63,000 points.
19) Clear Main Quest Act 3 (4/6), unlocks at 69,000 points.
20) Clear Main Quest Act 3 (5/6), unlocks at 75,000 points.
21) Clear Main Quest Act 3 (6/6), unlocks at 81,000 points.
22) Clear Main Quest Talk 2, unlocks at 91,000 points.
23) Continue exploring (next quest requires 101,000). Full exploration of Sector 3 caps out at ~72,100 (146,200 including previous Sectors).
Walkthrough - Day 4:
24) Clear Main Quest Act 4 (1/3).
25) Farm Free Quests for exploration materials as needed. Destroyer or Light Cruiser offer decent drops for now.
26) Explore the Sector 4 map. Detecting at least one enemy shadow in Sector 4 is required to unlock a later step of Act 4.
27) Clear Main Quest Act 4 (2/3), unlocks at 107,000 points.
28) Clear Main Quest Act 4 (3/3), unlocks at 113,000 points, also requires a Sector 4 enemy shadow to be detected.
29) New Free Quests will unlock; Battle Cruiser has the best drops for exploration materials currently.
30) Clear Main Quest Talk 3, unlocks at 125,000 points.
31) Continue exploring (next quest requires 135,000, this is also the last mandatory point threshold). Full exploration of Sector 4 caps out at 42,900 (189,100 including previous Sectors).
Walkthrough - Day 5:
32) Clear Main Quests up to Act 5 (2/2).
33) Continue farming/exploring til next time gate.
Walkthrough - Day 8:
34) Clear Main Quest Epilogue. Abyss sector unlocks.
35) Farm Free Quests for exploration materials as needed. Battle Cruiser has the best drops currently.
36) Explore Abyss until purple shadows are located to complete Extra Main Quests. There are a total of 4 purple shadows. Defeating all four unlocks the final quest.
37) Clear Main Quest Extra-5 and Finale. All main quests completed!

Farming Heavy Cruiser is still quite good, although if at least +1 bonus can be brough for a single event currency, then farming Battleship / Dreadnought / Super Dreadnought become better for clearing the Event Shop, and have better drop rates for exploration materials as well. As a note, 100% Exploration progress must be achieved to fully clear the Exploration Point ladder (no uncovered grid spots). |
Walkthrough - Exploration
- Exploration helps gather Exploration Points, which are required for unlocking both Main and Free Quests.
- Exploration also provides additional rewards from the Exploration Point reward ladder (QP, Mana Prisms, and a Crystallized Lore for doing 100% Exploration, or 300,000 points).
- Every coordinate grid section uncovered gives a flat 100 Exploration Points.
- Clearing nodes (Treasure, or Enemies) also provides varying amounts of bonus Exploration points.

Exploration Strategy
- Various methods of Exploration will unlock with Main Quest progress, which uncover hidden panels on maps in various arrangements.
- A list of unlock conditions and the cost of each exploration strategy is in the table below.
Exploration Tips
- 1) Try to minimize dead panels as much as possible (dead panels are panels that are already revealed within the exploration range).
- 2) Try to avoid leaving one or two spaces next to corners or edges.
- 3) Reveal as few enemy panels aside from the panel with the enemy node (the circle) as possible, since other unrevealed enemy panels get uncovered for free.
- Note that there is unfortunately no true single optimal exploration path since placement of nodes is random. Placements of shadows can interrupt the exploration pattern, making each player's map routing unique.
- Even so, we can still give a rough (conservative) estimate of how many exploration steps must be done to clear each map.
- A rough estimate can be made in units of "Osakabehimes", or the number of Osakabehime Explorations that must be done to 100% a map. Note this is a very rough estimate, and can vary depending on your own map and exploration efficiency.
- Sector 1: ~26 Osakabehimes
- Sector 2 : ~43 Osakabehimes
- Sector 3: ~64 Osakabehimes
- Sector 4: ~33 Osakabehimes
- Abyss: ~64 Osakabehimes
- TOTAL: Approximately 230 Osakabehimes (or equivalent exploration)
- The exception to node RNG is Sector 4, whose shadows do not interrupt exploration, so an approximate optimal route can be followed if players wish to. On average, though, optimized routes only save 1 or 2 exploration steps, so players should not stress too much if a less optimal route was taken. See the (long) accordion below for optimized Sector 4 routing strategies.
Exploration Backup Servants
- Various Exploration Backup Servants will join the Master during the exploration process!
- Masters can select an Exploration Backup Servant before starting battles in the event, and they can provide various buffs during the battle!
- * Some Exploration Backup Servants are highly recommended for certain encounters against enemy shadows. The recommended Backup Servant is highlighted with a "Recommended" icon!
- Backup Servants will unlock as Masters progress through the event. A full table of Backup Servants and their effects / unlock conditions are detailed below.

Event Bonus Servants
- No, if only planning to clear the Main Quest line. For clearing the Event Shop / 100% Exploration, Maybe, depending on the amount of Event Bonus available.
- Natural Regen AP will be approximately 3940 AP throughout the event.
- First time minimum clear takes approx 2780 AP, if running all quests once and not clearing every map fully.
- For 100% Exploration (ignoring Event Shop), it likely will take approximately 4780 AP, also will likely result in a mostly-cleared Event Shop.
- For clearing the Event Shop (no monuments, EXP, or 3* Fous), this will take approximately 4570 AP.
- For clearing the Event Shop (no monuments, but with Fous and EXP), this will take approximately 3890 AP. It should be also possible to clear exploration, although this can depend on drop luck.
- For a full Event Shop clear including monuments, this total reaches 5850 AP to clear all pieces and monuments (and at this point 100% exploration should be met as well).
- The amount of AP required can be reduced with more copies of Event Ces and Bonus Servants. Additional copies of 4* or 5* CEs must be obtained in the gacha, while 3* CEs can be obtained in the Friend Point Gacha (at a low rate).
- Assumptions for the above AP costs (uses "first timer worst case scenario with no Friend Point Gacha luck, but has 3* Servants", AP reduced if more bonus available):
