Since we probably "kinda know" what's coming up from the JP sequence of releases, I'd love to see articles on the site that "look ahead" to the next month or so of events/content, particularly with respect to what servants might be very useful to improve. Until quite recently, I really only had 1 "advanced" servant of each class (except for ruler/avenger, of which I have none), so when events come around where some of the others give bonus drops, either I've had to go without, play them in the backline at really low levels (e.g., I'm using a L10 Marie atm), or use AP that I'd rather use on the event for embers. If I had a month to plan, I'd have a better idea of how to prepare.
Sure, I could probably do the research myself, but that could be said from most of the great advice I come to this site for. This would be great to have available, IMHO.
I usually just watch JP tier lists as well as the FGO wiki to see the kinds of rank ups/interludes that servants get. I would imagine the gamepress staff have to prioritize writing material for the present before writing material for the future so I kind of understand why 'looking ahead' articles wouldn't be a huge priority.
I think for the most part everyone knows to just grab Merlin, Waver and Skadi anyway.
GIven that Merlin and Waver are never going to be welfare servants, the odds that I will be lucky enough to get them on a low number of pulls is probably very, very low. And I have no idea who Skadi is, even :)
I do agree that it'd be cool to have a bit more advanced notice about certain things. It's honestly not hard to go and read about future events and such on other websites, but if I were to go and research the events on my own then it kind of defeats the purpose of me using this site.
The next event would be the Christmas event for this year(not the rerun we are currently doing) the servants with a bonus for that event are

In the long term though, it’s just good to have a bunch of different servants leveled as aside from event bonuses they are fun to explore and you never know who you’re gonna like to use.
I play this game somewhat casually, so I don't have the opportunity to level up multiple ones of the same class all that much. I'm only now reaching the top of the ladder with my best ones, so I now have some opportunity to branch out a bit. I'm also F2P, so I don't have lots of options of 4/5*s, just what I'm lucky to get. Even at 3*, I still haven't managed to get even a single extra Cu lancer yet :(

We did have a couple of articles that looked ahead though, when the new dailies were introduced (due to Nero Fest coming), Halloween prep, and of course some farming advice strewn about in the farming guides.
Nonetheless, we'll see what we can do! If you want more responsive feedback from the writing team though, I recommend reaching out to us via our discord and then the #fgo_sitefixes channel in particular.
It doesn't need to be a full guide, just more or less a heads up as to kinds of servants would be best (and even more so if it's really critical for something). Come to think of it, a TL;DR of a Q&A is probably more or less what I'd find really useful.
Other things of interest would be if there is a welfare servant, and what the event shop might be focusing on for ascension/skill mats.
