should i try to get gil to NP2 this new year or roll for other sevants? and how big is the difference between NP2 and NP1 gil
biggest % increase is from NP1 -> NP2. I also think you don't have to chain for the extra servant damage if you roll for np2.
If you think you have enough servants to get you through any content in this game, then go for np2 gilgamesh
but if you're lacking in servant diversity i would attempt to roll for another SSR.
If Gilgamesh is your favorite, then proceed to NP 2 him. With NP 2 Gil, bruteforcing through the game is more easier, as he is very strong already. I must say it's a win-win situation for you.
As for Damage differences, have been mentioned Above. I also do some small test using my NP 1 Gil and NP 3 friend Gil. Using solo set up georgios+Leonidas lvl 1 with lvl 10 anniversary blonde.
NP 1 Gil have lvl 10 Charisma and NP 3 Gil have lvl 8 Charisma.
NP 1 deal 68K neutral damage and NP 3 deal 95K neutral damage.
As for the NP 2 i don't know about the Damage result.
Or you can roll an SSR servant that even more broken than him, Merlin.
Gilgamesh is a freaking Gilgamesh And Merlin is a Cheat Engine
Combine both of them and you can guess what will happen after that.

yeah he is kind of my favorite and i might just go np2 and i figured everyone would try to get a merlin so i'd just borrow em since i already invested most of my caster mats on waiver.
Lol i like him too, i might NP 2 him later after Babylonia release.
Which i planned to roll for Casgil, so i probably will skip Merlin banner and borrow friend Merlin instead.
Also he never cease to amuse me especially with his laugh. It's annoying, but i subconsciously laugh too 😆
The funniest part is when you borrow friends Ozy or another Gilgamesh ( i recommended to minimize your speaker when you do this =_= ) 100% guaranteed laugh chance.
For more than a year of playing FGO. Daily Farm, wave clearing, event clearing, boss clearing become easier using him.
I also handicapped myself for a bit by not using Gil, Hans and Waver with Anniversary Blonde. For now i use Art team, which is more challenging.
