Which does more damage in a brave chain?

Forgive me for being a twat, but I have seen many people use different kinds of card selections whenever they use a brave chain but this is mostly for damage sake. Would it deal more damage if the Buster card of the brave chain is in the first selection or lastly? I have always done the buster card being last as it seems to do more damage to me but I'm not so sure. The last card has more effect and does more damage right?

First card being buster gives additional damage to the rest of the chain. At least 50% IIRC.

Buster card alast gives the most damage if you do not start with buster. In general if you want damage, starting with buster is more ideal

For np gain, start off with arts(edited was previously buster... Facepalm)

For worst of both worlds, start off with quick (being serious here) aka never lead with quick unless it's with a quick np.

Yes you're wrong. Obviously the most np you can gain is from an AAA arts brave chain. Outside of that, it's highly dependent on hitcounts. An example would be Jack and kiyo lancer. Jack best np chain would be aqq while kiyo would be abb.

I see my mistake though. Edited that in my original post.

i think first card in Buster chain (i.e. when you start with Buster card) gives flat out 20% damage bonus (i dont remember the % precisely)
more over, that bonus is not affected by enemy defence.

however, it seems that EVEN if NP card itself is buster, and WILL form buster chain, the damage from NP is unaffected
(means there is no point of putting NP card in third slot instead of first)

im still not sure bout this, so...
if someone can test if buster perfomance up raises damage of buster NP (like JAlter skill) - be my guest

The NP card adds an effect to the following cards if put first, but it is not affected by cards that come before it. That said, it makes sense to always put your NP first in the chain.

In some situations it might make sense to put it in 2nd position if you want your first card give an affect to the third one, e.g. maximizing NP gauge despite buster NP.
