How was everyones comp/experience for the final?

Sorta curious what everyone went in with and how it went. Mash, S. Lancelot 200%, support Waver, David, Medusa, and Chloe was mine though I ended up using all of my CS and barely survived at the end xD I tried buffing lancelot and he managed to knock off four of the servants before biting the dust. Ended up winning with the class advantage but it was sort of satisfying watching Nero use her NP and Chloe and David taking it to the face and coming through alive. Sort of a nice way to end these challenge quests.

I'm still working on trying to beat this thing. I tried with a Hans, Mash, Cu Alter Support, Herc, Cu Lancer, and Ozy team and also a team that swapped in Waver for Cu Alter Support. Neither worked. I'm going to try again with Ibaraki later.

I used support Jalter to carry, Hans instead of Waver, Medea to remove buffs from Ozy & cleanse Jalter, St George with Grand New Year CE is basically free 2 turns, Mashu for defense and Chloe to delete Nero. Didn't need to use any seals which is nice

I used a support ibaraki to destroy jack, amakusa, and ozy. Shiki saber was there to debuff cleanse turn 2. Mash taunted againsy medea's np. Shiki asassian was there just in case ibaraki didnt finish off ozy but instead took out lancer artoria. Heracles didn't do anything but sone minor damage. It came down to archuria against medea and nero with all three guts. Only won thanks to the crazy no soam of her and a full heal from a command seal after the guts triggered. A very nice way to end the challenges of the events.

I used a level 35 Georgios + 70 Hans + 90 Cu Alter (with MLB White Rose) on my front line, and 90 Jack + 80 Chloe + 80 Anne and Mary Archer (also with MLB White Rose) on my back line. The Jack was to remove Ozzy's buffs, and the Chloe was just to fill in a spot and soak up a few hits (I would have preferred to use another support type servant, but I really don't have any), and A&M Archer was for a last stand. We just barely managed to scrape by without using any command seals.

It was pretty interesting, because I managed to finish off Nero, then kill Medea from full health, and then kill Medea again due to the guts she got from Nero, in a single turn and with only one servant. Previously, I didn't realize that it was possible to register 3 separate attacks with only one servant. Using A&M Archer, I did a BBNP chain, while targeting Nero. The BB cards finished off Nero, then the NP counted as a second attack and triggered Medea's guts, and then the extra attack from the brave chain counted as a third separate attack since it came after a NP, and that finished her off.

My final comp was: White Rose Cu Alter, Martha (rider), support Waver, Mash, Hans, Kintoki (rider).

On my final attempt when I got to the last wave (Ozy, Medea, Nero) I didn't try to focus down Ozy like on previous attempts. I used Mash to eat his NP. I burned all of Nero's guts which involved switching out Cu with Kintoki with the combat uniform on her NP turn. By this point Ozy was soft enough for me to kill. Then I finished both Medea and Nero with a NPBB from Cu, GG.

And while I didn't use a command spell on the last attempt, the previous attempt I used two to try to burn down Ozy real fast. I think this was the key for me. Using NP to kill Ozy right away just makes Cu too vulnerable. Needed to make sure that he could survive Nero and her NP to give him enough time to finish her and Medea off.

Total attempts was 4 I think.

Forgot to mention that Nero droped the CE for me for that extra satisfaction : )

Thanks, this strategy helped me as well. I actually finished Nero off before Ozy because the extra guts is a tiny thing to deal with compared to the lack of evasion for the rest of the battle. :)

100lvl maxed support cu alter supported with maxed mash and 10/1/1 waver
ridertoki for the backline when medea is last and ibaraki with kaleidoscope so she can fire her np and delete someones buffs
in the end none of those worked and it was just cù killing someone each turn with his 16k attack and event ce
however ridertoki did do his job and finished off medea after she killed cù which was the only one left besides him

After a dismal failure of a first attempt (due to accidentally killing a few enemies in the wrong order) I switched to a ST team.

Mash, Martha (debuff clear), Georgius Kuro, Herc and a support Cu Alter.
It went pretty great until Ozy, Medea and Nero were left. They killed my servants in a fortunate order despite not having any taunts active.
Only problem was Cu bit the dust after Ozy.

With Nero preparing for a NP I finally used a CS on Kuro. After some hesitation I targeted Medea and contrary to my expectations the NP was enough to finish her before the Brave chain depleted Nero's final life.

I agree, the finale was a nice closure for those quests.
For most of the battles I had a suitable team so the tension was at times lacking. In the close calls it was my errors that made it harder than necessary ( one example is expecting Wyverns to be rider class).

Thank you everyone for answers here and in other similar questions! I find these type of discussions always helpful because even if I cannot field the same comp/strategies, folks always have team comp ideas I didn't think of and I always eventually get it after some trial, error and cribbing. So I'm going long-windly explain how I did it and hopefully it's of use to someone.

My team that finally did it was:
Jalter - White Rose
Archer Artoria - Golden Sumo
D'eon - Volumen Hydrargyrum
SUPPORT Cu Alter - White Rose
Bride Nero - Chaldea Lifesavers
Mash - Happy x3 Order

Battle kinda went like this: Killed Jack, damaged LaArtoria, Amakusa joins. Finished off LaArtoria and Amakusa in one turn (thank you Jalter NP), now it's Nero/Medea/Ozy. Shifted focus to Nero, somewhere around here my Archer Artoria dies after not doing much, Cu Alter joins. Combined Jalter/Cu busters manage to take out Nero, Jalter and D'eon die in the process, Cu Alter eats Ozy NP but lives due to guts.

Now it's Medea/Ozy vs. Bride Nero/Barely Alive Cu Alter/Mash. Kouhai takes everything to the face for the team, Cu NP manages to get Ozy to half health (gross) but he is thankfully finished off next turn (guts and all), and even manages to trigger Medea's guts before she puts Cu down. Now it's down to ~50KHP Medea with charged NP vs. full HP Bride Umu. I do a BAB chain with Umu, Medea down to around 20K. Umu eats a RURU BREAKER, comes out okay, finally finishes the job with one more BAB. No command spells because I used them during previous failures.

EDIT: Oh, and in my 12 to 15 tries, I came to the conclusion that AoE strategies are probably harder. Even though I read in multiple places that Medea's on-death buff is gnarly powerful (especially on Ozy), seeing it in action was something else. Leave her for last.

Ran a team with 2 DPS, 3 Tanks and Chloe for Last Stand:
1. Ibaraki - MLB Princess of the White Rose
2. Cu Alter (Friend Support) - MLB Princess of the White Rose
3. Georgios - Chaldea Lifesavers
4. Mash - Chaldea Lifesavers
5. Scathach (Assassin) - Chaldea Lifesavers
6. Chloe - Chaldea Lifesavers

After a few failed attempts I settled with this team:

Cu Alter lvl 90 with MLB White Rose CE
Hans lvl 55 with MLB Divine Princess Storm CE
Medea Lily lvl 80 Support with Another Ending CE
Medea lvl 60 with MLB Golden Captures Carp CE
Mash lvl 70 with MLB Merciless One CE
Archer Arturia lvl 90 with MLB Chaldea Life Saver CE

I used Medea Lily's NP to remove the team debuffs right away. In the following turn I used her skill to remove the poison effect on my team. Hans was used for buffing and healing. At some point I replaced Medea Lily with Mash to absorb Jack's NP. I realized that I had to get rid of the AOE NP's first if I wanted to beat this one. That's why I finally strayed away from the guides and defeated the enemies in my own order:

1. Lancer Artoria
2. Jack
3. Amakusa
4. Nero
5. Ozymandias
6. Medea

I believe the most crucial decision that helped me beat this one was to tackle Nero first and save Ozy for later. The enemies were spamming NPs almost every turn so I couldn't survive without evasion and invincibility. With this setup I didn't need any command seals, which was nice because I had only one left from previous attempts lol.
Also, I could have used anyone else in place of Medea and Archuria. Medea died before attacking and Archuria just appeared on the field when the fight ended.
