I'm pretty sure the medal missions don't change a whole lot, drop-wise, just compositions.

Till now I only were farming petals but I want to buy some items from the shop like focus and other ascension materials.
I will need around 600 of each medal (gold, silver and bronze), Are the current missions worth enougth to farm or the drop rate will be better on the finals? (Note: I don't have any Event CE for farm medals).

The drop rates doesnt change for the finals. If you have been farming petals you should be able to get several bronze medal rate up ce from the friend summon pool.

Man rng was really not kind to you. Well if you use other peoples ce you'll increase a little bit. Plus since the best drop rate for bronze only cost 10 ap you should be able to get those at least. Barring that you could continue to grind petals to get more friend points.
