Paid Saint Quartz

So I'm planning to buy paid quartz early for the paid gacha which is on New Year but before that is Merlin's banner and I'm planning to summon on his banner with Singles only so if I choose singles while I've already purchased the paid quartz Is there a way without spending the paid one???

The reason I'm buying early is because I have important things to pay and I don't think I can buy quartz by the time the paid gacha arrive because I'm too broke by that time.
