Okay I'll be joking for a bit.
Step 1: put Merlin in your team
Step 2: Use his skills when needed
Step 3: use his NP and continuously spam it with his class skills and stack then
Step 4: Use his third skill on a buster servant or when they have a buster card.
Step 5:???
Step 6: Enemy died from cancer.
Anyway seriously I'll say this. Merlin is broken. Merlin is a class of his own. There is no other Merlin class servants. He makes your team so strong with very little effort. There's no teams that he becomes stronger he makes all teams strong. Look at his NP effects it heals you, gives you stars, and charges NP, and could be stacked. Don't worry about team comps and seriously put him in your team and prepare not to think so much that strategizing is somehow funny and laugh at yourself who was thinking what should I do during my turn before. I'm speaking from experience from playing with my friend's JP account, so yeah I felt empty on how easy things became that I laughed. I'm not kidding just put Merlin and push buttons without thinking then win well unless faced with a boss with multiple bars which he also makes pretty easy

Merlin is a cheat code Made by DW him self and Merlin can make everything a meme. Thrust me, even a tank like leonidas can be a monster with a Merlin or a Titan with double Merlin.

Do you plan a team for Waver beforehand? No you don't. Same goes for Merlin.

Although he DOES perform slightly better with buster/crit servants thanks to his 3rd skill.

For some reason Merlin's broken is not just only focusing on give Buster Critical DPS ability to slash any enemy in one round.
All his 3 skills and NP, and even his own Basic skills OP.
Like Mixed-Blood EX.

Because of that, 4060 dual Merlin can make you fly.

So far your Tamamo Lancer, Kiyo, Emiya and Bedi could be quite beneficial. But like I said, Merlin's OP is presented everywhere.
Like Jeanne+Merlin+Mashu. Any boss may suicide himself/herself when facing that. Merlin's 3rd skill not useful? Who cares.

Only specific team like Art team with Tamamo or Quick team with Skadi, Merlin won't be broken. However, even though, it is still good to add Merlin as the second support.
Like Tamamo+Merlin comb for Critical Art team. Different effect compared with Waver.
