FSN Cu Chulainn

Usually i just put him in the backline of every team because his immortality saved my ass a lot, but one day i got curious. People often use him for solo or as a last resort like me, but is there any common team composition focused on FSN Cu?

It's a simple comp. Cu needs to be grailed to 90 at least for the extra health and needs to ideally be 10/10/10. It only works on bosses that don't AOE (so no demon boars or dragons). But you bring Cu, a level 1 georgios and a level 1 Leonidas. You taunt with leo first so he eats the damage and dies and then with georgios second. This gives you time to fill up Cu's np bar while also using up some of the CD time on his protection from arrows. After that you just chain np quick brave chains and buster started brave chains. Recommended mystic code is the Atlas institute uniform for the invuln as well as for the extra debuff clear.

worth noting you would put CEs on george and leo that give bonuses to teammates upon death. usually np charge

Birby is on point about the CEs. I should mention my source is multiple Honako Green videos as well. Those are the same comps I see in those vids.

i have wracked my brain for a while about this. in fact yesterday i wrote a very long question post for here about possible team builds for cu and ended up deleting it without posting because the answer is fortunately and unfortunately that theres no particularly syngergistic team for cu. he functions 100% independently and therefor can benefit some from any good team comp but is also not the ideal pick for any of them.

he has a single target np so he puts buffs to good use. he has lots of survivability, but hes only almost immortal. not literally immortal so even defensive support isnt useless for him. in fact dodges pair well with heals because he can allow himself to get low and then pop the dodge while you have the team try to heal him up. the only really "bad" place for him is artes teams. he's less than ideal for say a buster crit team, but even then he can often join quick and buster chains do to his deck.

i really mean it when i say ive put a lot of thought into this and there isnt any super "combo" for cu in this game. his selling point is self sufficiency. the best "dedicated cu team" i can think of is just frontline cu with a bunch of buffers. cuz he has near immportality stuff your team with stuff to boost his damage and the little bit of extra survivability he needs. he should live through everything and if supports die along the way backline supports fill in. f2p options include, hans, caesar, david, mash, alexander, and fuuma imo. i wouldnt go in expecting him yo be crit focused btw. i only say fuuma because he makes so many stars everyone gets high crit rate even if they have low star weight.

Herc has the same logic really. Both Cu and Herc are at their strongest as sweepers. In Cu's case that's being able to take best advantage of his own stars to make up for his low damage. In herc's case it's taking full advantage of all those guts (enemy boss skips the rest of the turn when guts gets triggered and he's the only target alive)

So far I still considered besides of Triple Cu are there are not so many team option for Cu FSN. Even triple Cu I prefer dual Cu Alter + Cu right now but maybe Dual Cu Alter + Cu proto after his strengthening.

One day I'll get cu alter and then will be able to roll out the full Doge squad: Cu alter, Cu proto, Cu FSN or Cu alter support, Cu caster.

I already can roll out the Holo squad when I get Tama cat levelled up.

UMU squad might be too expensive :(

Really? Dont forgot Osakabehime and JK saber as for Holo squad. They are also expensive.
At least two UMU will be here in same event.
