So, I mostly emptied the shop except for 10 Tears of Blood and 10 Pages. With AP regen I can get 2 more of each, but for the rest I would have to use 4 of my 8 gold apples left, because I got no Kill on Sight CE. Is it worth using them, or is it a waste, especially since for now I don't need either of those resources for my main team?
I think having at least 50 of each mats would be good, but hon wasting that much apples when Nero fest would appear would be extremely wasteful since Nerofest would give more. Honestly if you're content already stop farming the event shop and farm for more Feathers or such. It's more of a general rule for me not to farm for more than what I need or at least 50 of each mats and 20 of the rarer ones since there's lottery events.
I see. In that case Ill just farm some more lions in the library EX zone. Maybe I get lucky with 2 or 3 more Hearts( now those I need like 60 of, why couldnt they be in the shop T.T) and the extra lions become QP which I also need a crapton of (like 60 mil just off the top of my head, not taking into account future levels of skill for which I may already have mats for)
This is just my opinion, but those hearts are only a 15% drop rate, so statistically, it would be normal if you spend your entire AP bar and don't get one. And it's very inefficient to farm event currency to exchange for QP. You can get way more QP from the dailies. I don't think that "don't worry about using apples" should suddenly turn into "stop farming all together and just throw your AP away". If you're not going to do something more productive with the AP, you might as well just use it to clear as much of the shop as you can. Tears of blood are usually 160 APD, and pages are like 78 or something. Since you can get them cheaper now, you might as well do it, imo. Especially since you have a Hans that could use those pages. This is just my opinion though. Obviously, you should spend your AP in whatever way seems best to you.
The pages are worth it if you have any casters at all. Bloods only if you have servants that need em.
Well, I do have 3 levelled casters. The thing is, Nursery Rhyme doesn't need pages anymore, Medea has just enough for lvl 9 Rapid casting already, and lvl 9 Circe is still a long way off. And even though Hans does need a lot of pages, I never use him.
Hans is worth getting up for sure though. And you never know when you might get waver or tamamo. As someone that's actually tried to farm Hyde Park during the half free quest week, trust me you take pages wherever they're available :^) I will 100% agree though that using as few apples as possible is better since Nero fest gains per AP will be higher
If your Hans is still only 3/1/0 and level 55, like in your profile, then it's understandable that you don't use him much, since you haven't really gotten him to a useful state yet. But if you actually get his skills up, he's so helpful.
He's 6/2/2 atm, still lvl 55. But yeah, I didn't really invest all that much in him, and probably wont untill after NR is decent. I can see a team made up of him, NR and a star generator to have back to back NR nps.
Yeah, you could surely do that. But he's useful outside of arts teams too. He has an attack buff, a defense buff, a star generation buff, a critical damage buff, a very nice heal, and he can passively generate 10 stars per turn. What kind of comp wouldn't benefit from all of that? You can slot him into almost any type of team. He doesn't especially need to play off of other arts units to fill up his NP bar or anything like that, because his 2nd skill gives him 75% NP on demand. Speaking of which, it's generally advised to prioritize leveling his 2nd skill first. His NP is pretty important, so it's very helpful to get the cooldown lowered on that skill. At level 10, it gives him 75% NP on a 6 turn cooldown.
Kuro, Saberlot, Nightingale and Surfo-Mo need it for high level skills.
At least better than Black Beast Grease.
