Max Leveled MLB CE

I've been playing FGO since super latter part of Onigashima event and luckily I got my first SSR, Mama Raikou [ NP1, (4/6/5) ]. She's an all-rounder for me. Farming or nuking bosses. Every team composition I have, she's always part of it.

I have a MLB Golden Sumo CE and Summer Time Mistress. And I want Raikou to have a dedicated CE.

So here's my question:
Is it efficient to have a Lvl100 MLB CE? And is it best to have Raikou a Golden Sumo or Summertime Mistress?

Thank you.

I'm no expert, so I can't answer your first question. As for the second question, my vote (between those two) would be the Golden Sumo Boulder Tournament. GSBT would boost every one of your hits, and your NP. I'm sure it depends on your particular comp, but I don't know if Raiko really crits often enough to forgo that in exchange for like 5% stronger crits. Also, I never managed to MLB Summertime Mistress, so I am salty and like to convince myself that it's not that useful.

Her first talent means she crits often. And her np basically generates 30 or so stars on it's own when 3 targets are up. If you can brave chain with her np and get her one quick card in there that number goes up to 42-45. Like the best way to use her is to generate stars against a group of 3 mobs and then plow through an ST boss type mob with crits reaching around 50-80k depending on buffs. If you add in her buster buff those crits hit even harder.

Right. Her greatest strength revolves around star absorption and generation. Pair her up with a waver with 2030 and another servant that boosts star gain for her and watch how destructive she gets. And this is pre-Merlin, I might add

But her star absorption is incredibly low, so when her first skill is on cool down, all the supports get the stars instead, don't they? At least, when I use Raikou, I basically only use her first skill at the beginning of the third wave. And I can't even count the number of times that I've used her NP to clear out the second wave and generate a buttload of stars, then at the start of the third wave, I had no Raikou cards and all those pretty stars just went to Hans or something.

I just feel like, in most of the situations where I use Raikou, I'd rather have everything she does boosted, instead of just having her crits that may or may not even happen be 5% stronger at the very end of the quest. But I'm admittedly a noob, so my opinion isn't too valuable.

Your logic would be sound for literally any other berserker. I experience that star starvation all the time on my herc which is why if I'm trying to maximize damage there has to be at least 50 stars generated and no riders or archers in the party lol.

Raikou is special though because of that talent (Lancelot saber too really) which allows her to have crit gather up for 3 turns! Hardly anyone steals stars from that and frequently her hits have a 100% crit chance. On top of that at skill level 10 that same skill has only a 5 second CD meaning she can have that buff up literally 60% of the time. No other berserker can do this, and few dps in other classes can as well.

Most of this kind of only applies to content that has yet to come out. Current content very much doesn't require this much comp and CE tuning since targets usually die before you can get off large sustained damage anyway (tends to take <8 or 9 turns to clear 3 waves even on the hardest difficulties)

Also if you're finding yourself short on raikou cards post NP you could try the Hogwarts uniform mystic code. I believe in game it's called the mage's association uniform. It has an option which lets you switch card orders

I didn't know about the Hogwarts uniform, so thanks for that. I understand everything else that you said, but I'm still having a tough time seeing why STM would be better in standard situations. Maybe I don't actually have a proper understanding of what the CEs actually do.

Just to make sure, the GSBT is essentially +20% damage to regular hits, +20% damage to Noble Phantasm, and +20% crit damage as well, right?

I've been always using Golden Sumo for the plus attack damage, sometimes, its Summertime Mistress when I paired her to Fuuma or Jack support.

I read some answers here in gamepress that at Forest/Beach node has the highest percentage drop for Summertime Mistress. Luckily at Forest node, drops three copies of it.

Btw, thank you for answering.

I swear I ran the forest and the beach more than any other nodes. I cleared out the entire part one shop, with the exception of a few silver lancer pieces, and I even farmed a bunch extra, and wound up having to convert a lot of event currency into qp, but it just wouldn't drop. It's just the way that my luck works. If there are any other events where we have to rely on a random drop to get the 5th CE, I already don't even expect to get them MLB.

I didn't get it either :(...meanwhile in summer part 2, I get 2 bloody copies of the CE, which I will literally never use and which could be MLB using the shop anyway!

Well the difference a level 100 CE has vs a level 20 one in her case would be a difference of about 1100 base attack at minimum. So yea, it's useful to have a level 100 MLB CE. Not groundbreaking if you don't have it at level 100 but 1k attack extra is well for perspective, it's approximately the amount of base attacked gained across 10 levels when measuring linearly.

Given raikou's talents, summertime mistress would be the way to go over sumo in my opinion. As long as she keeps getting stars, which she usually does between her np and using a star gen with her first talent, she'll be critting quite a bit. So makes sense to buff that crit damage as high as you can.

I leveled up Summertime Mistress to level 30 thanks to Event EXP CE but it really takes a lot of QP. I guess it takes time to get a level 100 CE.

Thanks btw. I always pair her with Fuuma being a star generator. Thanks to her Riding Skills and First Skill, she got a ton of crit stars.

Yea getting a level 100 CE takes a whole lot of time but you get there eventually. If anything it's a good way to stop your CE bar from reaching 300 from all the useless CEs you get from the FP gacha lol. My highest current CE is golden sumo at 50 for perspective.
