Why has Jalter fallen so much on jp tier list
Appmedia currently has her at B tier(below average tier, has Iskandar, Medb, Nightingale for reference) anyone with knowledge of the jp meta that can explain why? I know I've seen lots of jp players complain about her not being very good in recent challenge quests but what specifically is her problem?

Altria did get a pretty big buff and MHX is helped a LOT by Skadi but yeah crazy how much the tiers shift compared to where NA is now.
Also I didn't even notice Bryn fell she was tied with Karna for best lancer last time they did the list good catch(though again one that I'm not really sure the reason for).

Yeah. It's good to see quick memes being relevant again, but so many buster/arts servants fell. No idea why, I suspect it has to do with how the JP summer event works. Also just looked up MHX, had no idea they buffed her skills and made them not horrible anymore lol

Jack is still better: better deck, better NP affect, better stargen, hitcounts, better NP gen. One thing that MHX has over Jack is riding passive tho, her NP also deals slightly higher damage I think (against non-females)

MHX actually does less damage on her NP still due to not having what is essentially a mana burst skill like jack her normals do a good bit more though. I would say MHX has comparable star gen though as her NP makes more stars, riding makes her quicks give *almost* as many stars and 20 stars on a 5 turn cooldown is very good.
That said Jack is definitely a good bit better

I don't really play JP so take my opinions with a grain of salt.
JP no longer puts high burst damage servants in higher tiers thanks to the introduction of break bars. Since challenges became more gimmickey, they value servants that offer versatility and more than damage.
Jalter only has one role and that is to deal massive burst crit damage. While she does that well, she's very limited in what she can do besides that. She also has the Avenger class so she rarely deals effective damage and resists less as well, making other servants better in comparison.
The Appmedia tier list also takes a servant's farming capability into account, which Jalter does not do well. Dantes rose up so high because the Dantes + 2 Skadi meta is broken for farming, able to do 3 NPs back to back if you have a MLB Kaleidoscope.

This may sound stupid but one of a "possible" reason I can think of is..
because it's japan. not being racist or anything but I've always thought japanese people have different perspective when it comes to games. I know a few games where japan has a really different tier list compared to the west, liek they'd put a low tier character(according to western players) to a high tier.

Most of the recent CQs have been multiple bosses with multiple break bars. The Jalter Memelin still works but at more turns compared to a Double Skadi team. They pretty much take into consideration on how fast CQs are cleared .

The recent tier list is very biased towards Double Skadi shit. Just accept it with a grain of salt. Just remember that one tier list is just opinions from Appmedia's staffs.

Double Skadi making Quick Great Again.
Also, Summer BB kind of does her job (Self-Modification EX, self-Buster Buff skill with survivability included, can buster brave chain with her NP), but better (sort of), as she locks the card sequences for 3 turns, allowing 3 consecutive identical brave chains to obliterate any boss (who is not a ruler ofc), as her buster up buff lastes for this same 3 turns period...
