I don't think they drop from the raid quests, but 2 of the 5* craft essences drop on one free quest node each at the highest difficulty. You also get the 3* one as a reward for completing the first story mission.

Do the event CEs drop in raids?
I am saving quartz so I won't be summoning any thing for a while other than friend point summon.
Can I get the event craft essences from raids or do I need to roll and also if any one has a joter and the event CEs can they add me I am in a dire situation.
