Any servants that are good for star gen and have any healing? (f2p astolfo team help)

currently running astolfo, fuuma, and alernating between hans and tamamo. there are 3 things i want to support astolfo with. star gen, np gen, and at least some healing. the core of astolfo and fuuma is great for star gen and means that with np gen help or astolfo theres plenty of on demand dodges which is why healing takes a back seat as a priority. the main thing im missing her is np gen.

i know tamamo fills the roles i want, but for her to have the benefits i want for astolfo it would require a lot of arts spamming and her best skill is useless for astolfo. i know she has a good benefit, but theres also a lot of wasted stuff in her kit for astolfo so i was thinking mash's skill is enough of a little boost in np gen provided im still critting a lot since even without an np gen servant on the team currently im only slightly behind the speed i would accept for astolfo. that leaves a third slot for something that can provide stars and i would like at least a little healing. doesnt need to be much between mash's various skill and astolfos phantasm 3x dodge.

alternatively, if i forgo mash and keep fuuma, i would need healing and np gen given astolfo's inate dodge and fuuma's targetable. as i said im hoping theres something else for this besides tamamo. something that has no gen in a skill preferably. the healing is a lower priority given the dodges, but i want to be attacking with astolfo and tamamos phantasm is great, but forces me to prioritze her artes hards a lot.

also, should i roll for knights of marines? i kind of think getting that first np off with astolfo and keeping him safe longer will make it more comfortable genning np with tamamo or someone else after, but idk if its worth the loss from imaginary around of knights dignity.

In astolfo's case it is better to use knights of Marines instead of imaginary around as his np is part of his star gen. I'll say this though, in the current meta quick crit teams really don't have a good support outside of the general support of waver and Hans. Skadi is a loooong way away. Also, Kintoki Rider is better in absolutely every way (except "riding" maybe and succing) in terms of gameplay and would be a better star gen and star user in the same team. You seem like you really want to make Astolfo work though so I'll just say it's going to take a lot of work just to get him to be average. Don't roll on Knights of the Marines. The 5* CE that is about to come out with prisma illya that is Magical Girl of Sapphire. It's effect increases NP gen by 25% and you get a starting np of 40% so it's basically a much better divine banquet. It addresses Astolfo's np gain problems quite well. For damage if you're running Hans or waver, either one of them will help with boosting her base damage and crit damage

okay, ty. i was just tempted because im new and i played for a bit and had knights of marines, but rerolled for astolfo after i figured the game out a bit. tamamo and astolfo are my fav characters so im just prioritizing them. i happen to have rolled drake too so it kinda makes it double sad trying to make astolfo work, but whatever. lol. but yeah, i know theres much better teams to play and ill invest in them for efficiency sake, but i gotta make something work for astolfo.

Trust me I feel you completely. Tamamo actually is an excellent servant by the way. When I started I really wanted Fran even though she is somewhat below average. When I got her I was thrilled and she was the first servant I max ascended despite having better gameplay servants like Heracles and Iskandar.
Astolfo does have some good art, very good voice lines, and a really great Sprite. Not to mention he was the trap that pretty much revolutionized how traps would be viewed in modern times and is the best meme. I wish I had him....:(

Also Drake is also an excellent servant. The recommended starting comps for now are buster comps where you play class advantage as much as possible and just murder everything with multiple buster card chain and arts teams which require more setup and supports but are (for now) the team that you can collect the most pieces of. Buster crit will take over starting from December.

yeah i happen to have also rolled ruler martha and have been braindead farming with it a lot lol. now that im talking about it im actually pretty surprised i have that many golds, but my rolling will slow down a lot now since i used up a lot of the early story quartz and stuff now

Look at the schedule down the line if you can and roll the gacha to pick up servants you need during banners that have them. Most people would say to just save quartz and roll for Merlin, which you can do and is also viable to do. But I personally believe actively upgrading servants slots when you can is more fun and keeps it lively. Like I've upgraded and replaced servants in every slot at least once since I started playing (except for assassin where I'm just not lucky). Didn't even plan any comps till about a month ago when I had enough pieces to decide on the arts route. And don't sleep on leveling 3*s and 2*s like Hans and fuuma as you have done as they're easy to max level and do tend to perform above their star weight. (Also if you haven't already planned for it, work on getting Chloe from the upcoming event. It's always nice to get an event welfare SR but Chloe is a particularly good one)

yeah im super excited for chloe. i wanna use her with tamamo. i just hope i can max her before the event is over. i know i can use robin hood, but shes cute. idk if ill manage to complete the event tho.

Remember the event will also have 100 gold exp tokens and 100 silver ones. And considering you get her ascension materials in the event you should be able to get her max ascended. Also Chloe completely outclasses Robin. Her np does less (most nps do less than the nuke that is Yew Bow) but she does overall more damage with a higher base attack of an SR and with all those juicy crits and that crit buff. Really in the current meta only 2 archers outclass her at all, Altria and Gil

well if you think a new player can clear it then that improves my confidence. also, i just pulled 2030 from a summon ticket. so astolfo(np gen ce of choice), mash(2030), hans(np gen or another lower rarity star gen card?) hows that sound?

Go with Hans or mash instead of both. Preferably Hans as innocent monster also generates passive stars per turn when the skill is up and hans' np post interlude actually can buff critical star generation for the party. In addition to actually having a 1 turn crit damage up skill. Fuuma can be the third servant in said comp for even more star gen. Hans gets the 2030, fuuma the imaginary around and Astolfo gets knights of the marines or the Magical Girl of Sapphire if you can get one.

As to Prisma illya I think it will take some help from friend supports to clear it and get Chloe for sure but it is absolutely doable. For perspective, I got kintoki Rider fully leveled and np5 during onigashima with a team of a level 50 Heracles, a level 70 Fran, and a 65 Hans with a level 40 cu backline mostly by using and relying on friend supports to semi carry.

Yea 2030 is awesome. I only got my first copy a few weeks ago and now my comps are pretty complete and just need to be skill levelled.

I don't have my Drake fully levelled yet (I'm stuck on bones >.<) but I do have a level 90 Altria Archer which should be helpful on all the arts weakness bosses and will be putting the art boosting event CE on her asap.
