Is Lancer Kiyohime worth rolling for?
So I had set aside SQs for quite a while for this particular banner and splurged with 10 x10 rolls. I was very lucky and pulled out 3 summer Mordred, the summer Ann and Marie as well as 3 Tamamo Lancers in addition to NP2’s of Nightengale, Carmilla and Rama. Plus all the event CEs I’ll need of course with that many quartz spent and there drop rate. I still have some left over and was wondering peoples opinions on Kiyohime. I know she is a powerful SR ST Lancer which is always useful. But is there any real use for her when I have an NP4 Li, NP1 Scathach and now an NP3 Tamamo, which at least a bit makes up for her lack of damage to females.
Or is it better to hang out for and hope for the best with rolling for Squirtle when I have NP3 Orion and NP2 Arjuna along with Atalante and Emiya?
I like both the characters and know my lineup isn’t exactly hurting for either, just wanted to see who you guys think is a more useful servant. Thanks, and I hope everyone had great luck in their rolls!!

The squirt gun makes it so great lol! I like Tamamo using an umbrella and Mordred with her board. Which I was a little sad Ann and Marie just have their guns and swords. Still look great though lol

Well since you already have an NP 3 Tama lancer then no. They're basically almost the same with different purposes in mind. Tama lancer has better NP gain and hits together with her class skills and could potentially spam her NP meaning she's more relevant in the future when bars would be a thing together with her consistency, but has demerits with her stun and her skills.
Kiyo lancer is much more straight forward boss killer with her defense down, and lower amount of hits meaning less NP spam generally so she would be great, but not too great in the future.
For Squirtle...well she's the same with Tama spams her NP like crazy due to her class skills and NP charge from her NP, and her NP could drain charges if I remember preventing bosses from using their NP the more you spam it so they might be the same as Kuro, but Kuro doesn't possibly prevent bosses from using their NP, and just like what I said according to what I read NP spammability would be important to the future.
Still the general purpose of summer servants is to make people thrown their money to get their cute swimsuit waifu and people playing this game throws money to get their waifu, so roll for it. Don't care for meta and such things. Just roll what you want. If I had the money right now I'd probably waited for Kiyo's Solon rate up and NP 5 her for Waifu purposes, but sadly my luck with 4 stars are bad.

Thanks for the tips. I was kinda thinking I’d have to NP5 her for her to replace Li and she won’t out damage Scathach straight up. And pairing Squirtles 70% NP down with Orion’s guaranteed could make bosses easier. But like you said...I want them all lol and I’m not F2P so I’d be willing to chuck a bit more at her once it’s just hers and Tamamo’s odds up! And I definitely hope you roll her! Best of luck!

Congrats on your great rolls...I spent 200 more sq than you and only got 1 tanamo and 2 of each of the other summer girls together with np2 nicrotist, np3 stheno, np2 marie rider and ibraki :(

Still some pretty good rolls you had though! 2 each of the others is real nice and Ibaraki is great! I would say keep pulling for Tamamo but that’s only cause I’ve had great luck with this banner lol! I did a last minute one just a few moments ago and pulled NP4 Tamamo out of it, so she seems to be popping up! If you do, I wish you the best of luck on getting her!

Regarding Kiyo Lancer and squirtle. My answer is NO. Unless you personally like them, not because of gameplay. Why? Because you already have better alternatives.

No offense taken lol. No, I am not F2P, but I don’t think I’d go so far as to say a whale. I would associate that with like a couple grand or more spent on the game. I usually end up buying the largest SQ pack twice a month to be honest, even if I don’t want to roll on any of the banners cause I know I will then have a bunch saved up for the ones I like. Hence why I had over 400 for this summer banner.
I’m sure that’s a lot of money spent though when looking at it from a F2P prospective of course. But I do play this game daily and put far more time into it than most console or PC games I own, so I usually pass on those games now and spend on this. At least that’s how I justify it lol. That and being disabled and depressed and the instant gratification that can be gained from something like this can actually help. Not saying it’s a sound idea lol, but it helps me!
My luck has also been pretty good. Jalter, Scathach, Kintoki, Shuten and a lot more SSR’s I’ve gotten on my first 10x pull and I’ve also gotten 3 or more SRs or higher on one roll more times than I can remember now. So I do have a lot of the servants and yup, I do throw some decent money at the game, and depending on the definition I suppose I’m a whale lol. Again, no offense taken!

Yeah I do the same with buying SQ. Whenever I get paid from work, I would buy biggest pack twice a month. I don't play much of my other PC games anymore. I started this game three months ago and spend more time on this than anything else. I love the servants and the music from this game. Have only missed one login in three months and was because sick.
