The answer is never enough
Even my 2 million is not enough to get even a single copy

Don't be ridiculous, there is a point of ridiculousness and that's anything beyond 3.125mil FP.

There are varying levels of luck: coin toss, forecast, expectation, practical guarantee. 2mil is the expectation kind of luck at 95% chance. 3.125mil FP is a 99% chance of getting it. While you can say that the 1% exists, what matters more is that the effort it takes to increase it any further is pointless at that level.

The probability from coin toss to practical guarantee for at least a single Angra Mainyu is as follows:
462.4k
1.5mil
2mil
3.1mil

The probability from coin toss to practical guarantee for NP5 Angra Mainyu is as follows:
3.1mil
5.3mil
6.1mil
7.7mil

When it comes to luck in these forms you don't even think about the percentages, but the size of the competition. For a coin toss you have to directly compete with 1 other. A forecast is 5x the space of a coin toss with 9 others to compete with, but 5x nothing special is still unreliable. However, the expectation is double the space of a forecast with 19 others to compete with so you are starting to look like you have good odds there. Yet beyond that is 5x the space of the expectation with 99 others to compete with, at which point it becomes ridiculous to think you'd fail.

He is funny and... very weak. I got one with less than 30 000 pts so it is all down to luck. One of my "friends" in the support list has him NP5.

I call shenanigans. Are you a JP player? I don't believe anyone in NA can have him NP 5 yet. Heck, even JP players having him at NP 5 is extremely rare. I've been playing JP for 2 years and even millions of FP later, I still never got a copy of him. On JP, I'll think its possible, but on NA, I don't believe you.

Keep in mind that some whales have a lot of fp (touhousniper had well over 7mil and there are plenty of even bigger whales). While it is rng to get Angra (some spent ~2mil and failed, others got him in the first roll), it seems to take about ~1mil fp on average so a whale with 5-10mil fp has a good chance at getting him NP5 and some one with ~3mil could reasonably do it with some luck.

even if you are a whale, there is only so many friends you have per day, pulling in so many points. I honestly can't stand touhou sniper, but I'm not going to bad mouth him here, but I can't sit through his entire videos to even check and verify what you said, but I did watch as much as I could stomach. from what I can see, he has a single copy, no idea how many FP. but I again call shenanigans. to get 7,000,000 fp, he'd be getting approx 24k fp a day, which might be possible with his always grinding, but again, unless I see a screen shot from NA with him at NP 5, I just don't believe it. I am admittedly biased due to my own bad luck with angra, having not getting a single copy after millions of FPs, but I still don't think getting 5 copies of him in 2-3 million is feasible.

He only has NP1 because he stopped pulling after 1. I never said he had NP5, only that he had over 7mil fp. He shows 7,438,940 fp in the first 5min of his first angra video, and he still has 7,101,135 left after pulling angra at the end of the second video. 7+ mil gives a very good shot at NP5 and ~3mil gives a small but nontrivial chance (consider one of the lucksacks who pulled him in ~10k and imagine if they had another 3mil left).

Keep in mind that there are a lot of players so for every one of us who didn't get him after millions of FP there is a lucksack who got him after a couple pulls. Now imagine some of those lucksacks as whales with millions of FP and it's obvious that many people could have NP5 if they wanted it.

fine, I'll agree with this logic because there is no way for me to disprove it. I can only stand by my it's statistically unlikely, which is equally a bad argument because luck is really that, you can't quantify it. but I'm also sticking by my other point which is still valid: until I see it myself, I don't believe it.

Believe it or not, I got him in around 30,000 points...and then I got him AGAIN around 30-40k later, so twice in around 60-70k.

It's ridiculously (un)lucky, because I haven't gotten a fucking SSR in literal months, and not without a lot of time and even significant monetary investment. It really sucks to see probability work its magic in the wrong places for me, I wanted Cu Alter, Jalter, Iskandar.....and ended up with Angra Mainyu NP2.....

It’s all about luck my dude. Most people spend around the low millions(think 1-3 mil) to get a single copy... then there’s people like me who got him on their daily free 10 roll without even having plans of getting him. There’s no telling with him honestly.
