5 star units are more expensive (16 team cost vs 12 for 4 star units), so early on you can't run very many of them. That said, 5 star units usually have better stats than lower rarity servants at the same level, and their level cap is higher, so that contributes to this also.
Early on in the game, team composition doesn't matter so much, just having class advantage is often good. You also don't have very many servants, looking at the attached picture.
When you get more servants: Iskandar is a powerful buster beatstick, so you can try building around him. As a rider, he'll often take most crit stars, so critical builds come naturally. Rama also works well for this, with his first skill as well as single target Buster NP. Elizabeth isn't a very good servant, but she can pull her weight in this kind of a team if you're up against archers.
Jeanne, on the other hand, lends to more defensive and/or arts strategies. You can try to get a friend Vlad and run Jeanne-Vlad-Mash, or a friend Tamamo no Mae for Jeanne-Tamamo-Medea. While both of these team comps have small antisynergies, I think they work pretty nicely. Both teams aim to make lots of Arts chains to charge up their NPs quickly. The first one aims to do damage with Vlad and protect him with the other two's NPs, while the second aims to do what Medea does best: cast Rule Breaker as often as possible. Again, the other two mostly aim to keep the team alive, with Tamamo's NP also helping with the Rule Breaker chain, both charging Medea's gauge as well as ticking down the cooldown of her first skill.
EDIT: I should mention that you can get a free 4* caster, Irisviel, from the current event. While not necessarily a good team, you can have fun with something like Jeanne, Irisviel and Medea Lily or Tamamo. This team aims to do one thing: survive. As long as you do some damage every now and then and don't die, your opponent will die. Eventually.
