Will Iskandar become the best Rider in the game?

Will Iskandar usurp what I assume to be Drake's position and become the best Rider in NA currently once he is released, or is she still considered superior to him all things considered (unless someone else beats them both somehow)? They seem somewhat similar, though she has the edge in star generation and critical damage from what I can see, while he's more of a generalist with his damage output and wins out there.

I know that Ozymandias will most assuredly take the top spot as the strongest Rider soon enough, once Camelot hits (can't wait for him and Saberlot), but until then, I would like to know who is considered to be the best Rider by the community and where Iskandar stands in the conversation, even if he probably won't come home sadly.

ALALALALALALAIII!!!

Thanks everyone!

Not really, I still prefer using Drake even though he has harder hitting AoE NP.

I prefer Ozymandio

WRYYYYYYYY

Iskandar is a great rider when it comes to damage output since all his skill sync with his NP. Furthermore if you able to use 3rd skill before NP combine with a brave chain, he will become a decent critical star generator. But since he only hit 2 times on Art that's make him poor on NP generator. He don't have any skill that fill his NP Gauge. That makes him to situational servant when you need a proper support and CE. Ofc you can trick it with kaleidoscope or Waver support. Drake is more consistent tbh.

Thank you for your response! I know Ozy is the real deal when it comes to gameplay power, but at least Iskandar does seem to have some merit and power, even if it is more circumstantial. I don't have Drake, so I guess he'd definitely be the best alternative at least, until Ozy (and eventually Quetz) come along to bolster the power of Riders in the game.

He will be the best attacking Rider in NA but not as self-sufficient as Drake. Having both of them will be awesome though.

Iskandar will be the best rider at.....single turn buster dmg. Aside from that, his skills dont let him be as good of a wave clearer as drake is, or as good as ozymandias is at consistent, reliable dmg output and np spam.

If your team and CEs are formatted perfectly around Iskandar, then yes, he outshines Drake. However, Drake needs far less support and is way better at clearing waves of enemies. And yes, Ozymandias will likely become the best Rider soon, however, Ivan the Terrible, just newly released in JP, is also a strong contender.

Can you give me an example for what the best team composition and CEs for Iskandar would be to maximize his potential and burst damage? Thank you!

He will be the best boss killing rider until Ozy comes out i think. For wave clearing, Drake does a better job IMO.

Iskandar only has the edge against Drake in NP damage, otherwise, Drake beats him hands down. The best rider for damage output and utility wise until Ozy comes around would be Ushi, not discrediting other riders with higher rarities, but Ushi has amazing damage output and has a role similar to Ozy, basically she is budget Ozy, but quick based instead of buster.

You'd think Iskandar has a strong burst damage, but sadly, Quetz will beat him (and Ozy, tbh) in burst damage. Later on when Lostbelt comes around, Ivan will just shut him down as AoE DPS, since the mammoth guy is pretty nasty, almost beating Ozy as best rider.

Hmm that's a shame, I was hoping Iskandar would at least stand out more prominently in some significant area, he deserves it considering how exceptional he is in the lore and history of Fate, and how awesome he is as a character, I feel.

Besides Ushi, I'd say Bonny&Read are, in certain situational setups, also among the best Riders in NA so far, especially in NP damage and burst damage, though I know Ushi is fantastic too.

I would love Iskandar for personal reasons relating to his character and history, but I want Ozy more for gameplay potency (I do also love Egyptian history so that's a good lore/history reason too), so I definitely wanna roll Camelot fairly hard. Riders seem to like me so far (SR ones at least), so I can hope for one of them at least...

Ivan the Terrible seems really interesting, but he's so far away that I won't even bother to consider him yet, I know Quetz is another fantastic Rider, probably the best after Ozy from what people say. Still, Iskandar doesn't sound bad at least, even if he's not exceptional.

Thanks for your response!

Actually, Broskandar still has the highest NP damage, surpassing even Ivan, I said Ivan is better as AoE DPS because Mammoth guy has more stable NP gain than Broskandar. Bro does have something he is best at, by no means he is bad, it's just other riders fare better than him in most situations. But, or course, riders are riders, however 'bad' they are, they are still crit monsters, so, if you pull him, use him right and you'll still have a monster running around (similar case to Arjuna).

Ah also, Anne Bonnie is fantastic, but her true damage potential comes when she is in low health, you need to turn into a dangerous playstyle to maximize her burst potential, this is the reason why I said Ushi is better utility wise, since you don't need to run her on risky situations, and even if you don't use Ushi as main DPS, she can still support your party, similar to Ozy.

Anyway, I hope this helps! And, I wish you have a good luck in your summoning!

Well, that's good to hear, I'm glad he still holds his own in terms of offensive power, he deserves to be a strong servant! I heard that he actually gets his NP gain augmented after an interlude or strengthening, which no other servant has had happen to them, so that's also a positive I would assume. I know I likely won't get him (only have three rolls left sadly, Jalter killed my reserves and wallet a bit, and all for nothing, not even another SSR), but I can always hope against the odds I guess (or at least get Kiritsugu, please gacha).

Anne&Bonny are risky for sure as I've learned, but their NP damage potential is just so ridiculous I love it, coupled with their crit burst damage potential. I enjoy using them a lot, even with the added risk compared to others.

Thank you very much for your responses, and for wishing me luck! Good luck to you as well!
