Are you C2p? If your C2p, its basically code to never burn golds. If your a whale or dolphin do whatever you want.
For the GSSR, paid quartz are used, free ones are not touched.

So yeah... got 3 Marie recently all unleveled and had 2 Edison, one leveled and the other unused. Should I burn one of the Marie or the unleveled Edison so I can unlock the Mona Lisa CE? I like having 1 of each servant so I'm not gonna burn them all just fyi. Also unrelated but when you roll the guaranteed gacha does it default to using paid quartz first or do you have to use all the free ones before the guaranteed roll?

Actually had to lookup what C2P meant since that's one I've never heard before till now. I bought a quartz pack for the news years guaranteed gacha using some free itunes giftcard balance I had, otherwise F2P all the way.

Have you considered raising their NP level rather than burning them? Who knows, maybe they'll be useful to you someday. It's just a suggestion though. If you really want the CE then by all means, throw away the servants you'll never use.
The guaranteed gacha works on paid quartz only, so the number of free quartz you have it's irrelevant. It'll automatically use your paid quartz.

I have considered raising np level but since they're so low tier I figured getting the CE would be better. I have a bunch of casters already and I rarely ever use Edison so burning the 2nd copy of him is an option I thought. I haven't used Marie yet since she is unleveled but like I said I have 3 of her and I have Santa Alter and Rider Kintoki at NP5 and Martha at NP2 plus Medusa and Alex at NP5. It worth getting her NP3? Martha doesn't exactly hit that hard even at NP2 so it's Santa Alter or Kintoki for my top gold Riders. Also have Astolfo but also unleveled and only 1 copy so that's not an option for burning.

Edisons skill is mostly situational, but Marie becomes a lot more usable during the arrival of Skadi, if you don't have another Quick Rider you might as well keep her
