So, I'm trying to arrange my team comp for the final Dantes Challenge Quest. I just saw the Musashi-Waver-Merlin vid which was put up on this website and I'm extremely eager to try it out cuz' I have Musashi and Merlin, and I have a close friend w/ Waver support. The problem is that I haven't been playing for very long, so I don't have the 2030 CE for Merlin. The best CE's for him I have right now are Devilish Boddhisatva and Kaleidoscope. Which one should I pick?
Correct me if i'm wrong but i thought it wasn't possible to use supports in this, only the Dantes NPC?
That aside i find Prisma Cosmos to work exceptionally well on Merlin, if you don't have that then definitely Devilish Boddhisatva, that effect will only last 1 time but it's better more healing than a bit more starting NP.
The Dantes NPC is only required for the first 6 days/trials. We can use Supports normally for the seventh trial and the challenge quest.
You can use supports on the hardest challenge at the end. Everywhere else you have to use dantes.
Hmm, I think both kaleidoscope and demonic bodishva is bad choice for Merlin for the last challenge because we are talking a really long stage and both CE is only effective for 1 turn so I think a CE that can work longer than 1 turn will be benefits you more. So in my opinion, the good CE for Merlin is a CE that can help him spam his Np so CE like little Halloween devil & Prisma cosmos...
divine banquet is also will help you but if you don't have them i am pretty sure there is a 3 star CE who works in the same way but I forgot the name.... Also, CE that can enhance his arts card effectiveness is also useful.
Yes, I do have Divine Banquet. I also have March of the Saint but I feel like it'd be too slow, so I didn't bring it up in the first place. It's kinda sad, but that's about all the support CEs I have on my account since I started not too long ago. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
Both of those will only work once so it's not a good choice for long quests like this. I can't name most of them off the top of my head, but use CE that give crit stars per turn, increase NP gauge per turn, increase overall NP gain, or boosts Art cards.
I guess I'll go with Divine Banquet to for additional NP gain and less team cost. Thanks for your suggestion.
I think starting the Garden of Avalon spamage sooner is better than 2030 or Divine Banquet. One of Merlin weakness is precisely the time he takes to charge it the first time
