NP3 Dantes

Quick question, just wanted to ask if NP3 Dantes is worth trying to get. Being F2P, I was lucky enough to get him to NP2, and I have about 200 quartz left to try and get him to NP3. Is there a good difference between NP2 and NP3? I still kind of want to save my quartz for Arthur, Achilles and Skadi in the future. Thanks!

Surprisingly, Dantes is actually one of the Servants whose performance shifts notably with NP upgrades. So an NP3 Dantes will find it far easier to trivialize any farming with double SKadi than an NP2. This isn't so much due to overall damage, then it is to trigger Overkill ASAP and stimulate his refund.

Yet, given your (relatively) low amount of quartz, I think you're better off saving for Arthur right now. You can always try and roll a third copy in the future - either by rolling on the guaranteed Avenger banner in 1.5 years, or his Summer banner for example.

Besides, it takes such a long time before you will see the fruits of your rolling.

From what I've seen from his page, you're better off just saving those quartz. There isn't that much of a difference from NP2 from NP3, and being F2P you should spend your quartz more carefully. You already got two Dantes, so why go for a third? All you'll get is a bit more damage, a stronger def reduction and a bit more curse damage that barely differs from NP2. Save up for Skadi, since she'll make him hit harder than ever with all her buffs, be it at NP2 or NP3.

Just popped in to say hi to a fellow "I want to get Arthur and Achilles" person (especially Arthur ❤️). Boys need more love! Prototype needs more recognition! Ahem. And congrats on NP2 Dantes ^^

Hehe definitely, If I had the quartz I'd try and get all the boys in the game <3 Arthur is my angel who steals my heart every time, and Achilles is (ahem) a soft boi for anesan, but after watching Apocrypha he's my 2nd husband after Arthur :')
