same how it works for other instant death NP

Don't expect death on servants. Low chance on elite mobs. High chance on trash mobs.

Then again, what's the point of death-ing trash mobs.

Evening bell also lowers death resist for enemies. Helps marginally if you want a proc for elite mob, like eyeball, bicorn etc.

Let me put it this way: the chance of getting an instant death proc on an enemy Servant is much lower than getting a 5* servant.

Is it possible? Yes, but improbable.

Don't count on it.

Someone below broke it down pretty well. Basically servants and bosses will never have any greater than 0.2% of falling to instant death.

It's impossible to kill enemy servants by practical standards. All enemies have an inherent death rate. KH's third skill says it decreases death resistance by 100%. What this actually means is that the servant's death rate is doubled, not that you have a 100% chance to kill them. Here's some numbers:
1. enemy servants usually have a death rate of 0.1%.
2. KH's NP has 100% chance to inflict death.
3. His third skill at level 10 decreases enemy death resist. Put another way, it increases their death rate. At 100%, this doubles it to 0.2%.
4. To do the calculation, take NP death chance * enemy death rate * (100% - death resist up + death resist down).
5. Assuming no death resist up was cast, and KH is using his third skill at level 10, we get 100% * 0.1% * (100% - 0% + 100%) = 100% * 0.1% * 200% = 0.1% * 2 = 0.2%. So not a lot.

Bear in mind that this calculation holds for enemy servants only. Other, weaker enemies have their own death rates, and some are very high and the instadeath can reliably work for them, but at this point of the game, most of the time their HP is so low your normal damage would probably have killed them anyway.

Wow.. that explain it

Back in babylon, when he is become guest servant, i always got instant kill using his np. Then i read in this page that his np got 100% dearh chance. Thats why i rolled him. For gameplay wise

I guess i misread all that death chance means hehehe...

Thanks btw now i get it

When I was farming monster plumes in Babylonia free quests I used scathach assassin and jack. Occasionally the big hairy monster bosses would succumb to her chances of instant death. Maybe once every 10 quest. Not often, but possible. Same goes with servants, but the chances are slimmer, and most of the quests that you want instant death are main quest that you can't repeat to check out death rates.

Sometimes there are bosses that do have high death succeptibility. Most often those are some sort of ghost (garden of sinners event had one where instant death was probably the only way to kill them). Also Babylonia quest where kh was the guest. These are much less common, making instant death as the primary skill rather niche, which explains why kh was ranked in tier 4. I think the skill is more useful in AoE np's, like Nitocris, because you're more likely to use against the mobs rather than the boss and benefit from the death chance. I can farm with Nitocris against riders because there's a good chance that they will die despite being strong against casters. I wouldn't bring kh against casters.

Man all this talk about servants being impossible to instant kill and here I am remembering when I killed MHX during the Garden of Sinners event as a newb with a weak level 30-40 Proto Cu as the last man. Sucks she had her guts skill which restored her to half hp on though so I died anyways but that I actually managed to kill with his NP blew my mind at the time.
