Wothwhile to try and get NP5 Gramps?

After saving up 15 tickets, and 370 SQ over the last few months, I managed to pull not one, but 2 copies of King Hassan, using only 4 tickets and 60 SQ tossed into x10 yolo rolls(Because after getting the first copy from a ticket, everything else is a yolo). All things considered I've already been stupid lucky this banner.
So my question is, should I go for broke and try to get him to NP5, or cut my losses and save the SQ?I know he's a great servant, but how much of a benefit would NP5 King Hassan be?

I would say save them. Honestly NP 2 Gramps is great for the instant death kill and if you were lucky enough to get the craft essence Devilish Bodhisattva then that even pushes his NP lv by 2 making it NP 4 Instant death. I have NP 1 gramps and decided to save up the quartz for later servants so using Devilish Bodhisattva is a good substitute for me if I want instant death kills plus the 50% NP start at battle doesn't hurt.

We are getting a lot of new servants this 2019 that almost puts all the servants from 2018 to shame so I would save up.

Speaking on upcoming servants, the foreigners are coming pretty soon, yeah? I'm wondering how useful those servants are, because tbh I don't exactly like their designs and am hoping I can get by without them.

You can get by with 3star servants. Everything else is a luxury. So you don't need to roll for the foreigners. Houkasai is top tier in an arts team though.

Okay good to know, just making sure how valuable their class advantage might be. I like arts teams, love using the NP's, so maybe if push comes to shove I'll roll for Houkasai. thanks.

Hm.. i wouldn't say it like that since last year we got many of the best servants in the game, more like there are good servants that could be nice substitutes to what we already have. The only exception i can think of is BB.

NP level affects damage only, BTW. It's overcharge that affects death chance. So getting gramps to NP5 doesn't change the death chance from NP1, assuming the same level of NP charge.

Using Devilish Bodhisattva will increase the death chance, but not the damage.

Yeah I’d say save you quartz you’ve already been really lucky, so I wouldn’t push your luck because you could still spend the rest of your quartz and not get a single gold servant.

You're not wrong, it was lucky enough I even got him to NP2. Just can't think of any servants besides maybe Proto Arthur that I really want. Guess I'll hang onto them, and wait to see what comes along.

No servant is worth getting to NP5, besides 60 SQ for NP2 is already insane so don't test your luck further.
