How good is Altera?

Altera is consistent, but unremarkable. She's a very vanilla AoE Saber but of the three non-limited SSR sabers, she's probably the best.

Musashi is still worth going for as she is mechanically very different from Altera.

Slightly different purposes but I gotta say Musashi is better. Altera is AOE though, which can be useful sometimes but lack of self NP charge makes it hard to NP consistently for farming purposes without Supports. I rolled Altera and Lancelot in the same banner but Lancelot is Bond 7 and Altera is not even bond 5. She is good of course, but not particularly useful as compared to many other choices - still worth raising though.

Disclaimer: I don't hate Altera, but just that she does not occupy a niche that's why I hardly have any reason to use her. (I can already hear her calling this piece of advice a bad civilization)

Lol I am the opposite. Spent 200+ SQ for merlin and got no merlin. Spent 60SQ and got musashi. Altera is a vanilla saber. Currently musashi is one of the better sabers out there now.

Altera is a AOE saber that has good attack and if you feed her some stars, which is easy to do crits hard.

She's not the one turn Nuker that Jalter, Musashi and other buster 5 stars are but she's a damn good saber and wave clearer

I think she is pretty good. Sure, her skills are straight forward to use but her damage output is pretty amazing.

I think Musashi is much more difficult to use effectively, especially her first skill. You can stomp everything to the ground simply by putting Altera on your team. If that's vanilla, sure.

She is solid. She has a buster AOE np and can crit, so she pairs well with Merlin. All your servants are strong ST servants, so Altera is a nice addition. I would stop.
