Hi all, I think i might have spent quite a number of quartz on him, perhaps 400quartz. (Free + those cheap itunes cards i found every month). I got nothing but Modred, 2x emiya, 2x Sthenos, 1X Fion, loads and loads and loads of CE. I burn both stenos and fion.
I seriously do not know whether if i should continue as i still have like 300 to 400 quartz left. I'm kinda depressed as this is worst than gambling. By right, i should be getting him...but by left..i'm not getting at all.
i Still do not know whether if i should use 1x pull or 10x pull. I seriously got a whole load of CE and i got very tired of MLB those. I do get most of my SSR through 10X pull.. only 1 time for quetzcoatl.
My friend said that if Mozart showed up in the utmost right side on fp gacha, you should roll. or when you get super success, or when you pull 3star servant in fp. I personaly pull all my ssr when 3star servant show up in fp gacha.
And if you dont have confidence in rolling, dont roll. wait for another day.

I got Merlin by doing single pulls, so you could try it out, though normally I get SSR on 10x pulls. Also set a limit a day for rolling, say 150 SQ. If you don't get him on every 150 SQ you spend everyday, you may lose the hype for him, thus not rolling and saving SQ.
If you want Merlin, spend quartz on him. If you don't want him, save the quartz. Simple as that. There is no guarantee of getting the rate up servant. You could get him with 3 quartz, or you could fail to get him with 1000 quartz. All depends on luck. If you think spending 400 quartz and not getting Merlin is a lot, I suggest you try the summon simulator on this site to see how unlikely it is to pull him.
thanks for the reply guys, but this is my first time reading 3star servants on fp gacha before going to the real thing. My questions is.. for the 3 star, should i continue gacha till i see 3star in FP gacha ? Or the first pull only ?
I wouldn't mind waiting for the next day as its not a rush.. i just hope that i can at least have a broken char in the game to assist myself instead of using and hoping for a friend who has it.
yes, gacha those fp until 3star servant show up. I usually do this, fp gacha until 3star serv show, then try single roll. If 4star ce or serv show, i roll. if not, i try again in fp.
And remember, do not empty thos qz in single day. you should save for later day when you are not at despair.

Yeah, the CE thing is annoying af. I remember whaling hard for those thanksgiving banners and doing 10x after 10x and skipping through to see what golds I got. I basically got gold CE after gold CE, sometimes with multiple SSR CEs in one multi, without ever pulling any gold servants. I have no idea how the RNG works but I have a hard time believing it is perfectly random after that particular experience. I'd say give it a rest for now and try again tomorrow.
yea.. they gave SHIT load of CE. I'm having the same issue as you. got gold ce over and over and over again. i got spook when modred but it is kinda depress when this things happens especially when they know the whole world wants merlin.
1) Don't spend them all at once.
2) Don't skip the reveals.

Skipping reveals definitely does not affect the outcome. I had the game crash on me during summons when rolling for summer girls. After logging in and sorting by acquisition, I saw that I got a Tama Lancer and some high rarity CEs. :)
i got a GOLD card..got trolled and it was no other than Nursery. i left 110 SQ . I'm just gonna wait till christmas and try the 3star servant fp trick.. if not i'll just hope that paid event can at least get waver.
I understand your feeling. I'm a bit diff since I am f2p. Spent all my quartz and tickets that I saved for around half year and got 0 merlins.
