It’s funny to see a crying thread

*Note : To clarify, i do feel sorry for the depression of people who can’t get Merlin but crying and blaming is another story.

Just read the thread “The NA server is absolute trash!” haha 🤣. Blaming the whole server because not getting a servant ? Really ? Why not blame yourself cuz your trash luck? Also, his quartzs are given, ftp, means he lost nothing in “real life”, still wanna bitch. “JP rate up is much better” 🤣 I doubt in JP server there’s another one bitching right now.

And below that great crying is an advisable comment :” better quit playing fgo all together” 🤣 How about you quit first ?

It’s your choice to play or not. Wanna blame?blame your choice, nobody gives af, hihi. You contribute nothing, you quit in silence. Ez

oh honestly I agree lmao

I mean, I generally have really bad luck and my summons are usually pretty shit but if I don't get what I want I'm not gonna get so pissed that I start blaming things that are out of my control.

That being said oddly enough I got Merlin first try on a summon ticket lmaoo rip everyone else

And remember the same person who wrote that spent 300 quartz for him.

ONLY 300 quartz.

Truly a travesty if ever I heard one.

Well these sort of people probably expect a free lunch. There are whales who spent real cash like Touhousniper who spent 1450 quartz and didn't get a single 5* rip:( If they are going to whine about not getting good stuff without paying when this is a luck based game, they can stew in their pile of salt and keep expecting handouts. I consider myself fortunate that Merlin came home in 800 quartz; at least I have something to show for my quartz. Hard luck for those who didn't get him, you can try again during the "x" million downloads banner next year.

Well, I don't think that the drop rates on the Japanese server are better, but I have a strange feeling about this ^^ So far I haven't gotten a single SSR servant in NA, but in Japan already my 5th one. In NA I spend money for SQ, in JP not.

So somehow there is something weird. ^^ Well, 60 SQ wasted on a copy of Chevalier d'Eon, save now on the Gramps banner. I hope I can still get enough SQ together for at least one 10 times Roll.

Same story with me I have 4 SSR in JP even though I never maintain login streak and have only cleared Fuyuki singularity.

JP is only better if you only care on the abundance of quartz that server gives, its QoL and new servants. I prefer NA since I am experiencing the whole content this game has, unlike in JP there are events that wouldn't have reruns.

Actually it kinda helps me that I have two accounts on NA. While the grinding is tedious, if one of my account failed to get the servant I want, I still have chance to the other. If both fails, I look on my grailed servants, reminding me that all the time I have invested to them if I decided to quit due to my bad luck.

Also, I'm kinda disappointed on the person who wrote that thread. I remember that guy being a relatively new player, asking for friends here months ago. To think he would shit on those who have different opinions on him today.

I am that player you are referring to, just to clarify I dont shit on other players if they have a different view than mine, I am simply opposed to people who start their sentence with curse words or are abusive in language.
If you speak kindly then I shall return the favor with kindness but if you speak rudely specially if you use abusive language then you shall be treated the same.
I try my best to be polite on the internet coz its much easier to be an asshole on the internet due to lack of consequences and the anonymity it provides, and yes I am extremely grateful to the friends I have in game and the people in the community who disagree with my rants yet reply with kind words. My apolgies if I offended you bro.

Frankly, I don't really mind since it doesn't affect me entirely, but you are kinda active in this community so I'm hoping for the sake of everyone that we all get along at some point. If you can, try to be polite even people seem rude to you.

That said, I hope your rolls will be good in the future. Maybe it is just me, but find your golden time in rolling. I always log my rolls and when I find my average good rolls, I always roll at that time. Also if it helps, set a limit on rolling. When you didn't get the desired servant after spending a certain number of SQ, stop and roll tomorrow. After a day, the hype will be gone and maybe you will realize that you don't really need that servant, thus saving your remaining SQ.

I am also constantly salty about my shitty luck, but that thread was a bit over the top for sure.
In such a case I think it's actually not such a bad advice to "quit fgo altogether"... something's wrong if you become too passionate about a game.

I think you misunderstood. The people suggesting OP to give up the game weren't saying that the game wasn't worth playing because they felt entitled to free SSRs, just that it wasn't worth playing specifically for OP considering how salty they got when things didn't work out.

Just to get something out, even though we may disagree a lot but I have nothing but utmost respect for you bro.

Oh, thanks. Always nice when people can get along in spite of disagreements on the internet. Also, I get your salt man, I'm pretty salty myself lol

The internet is a crazy place just to quote Bill Burr "87% of the people on the internet are evil", on another note how do you vent the salt?

I kinda just stop playing for a few hours, that usually works, though not always. At one point I got genuinely annoyed enough that I actually spent an hour or so trying to create accounts on a few websites to sell my FGO account because I was just about ready to give it up. If my card wasn't rejected for some reason I probably would have stopped playing back then. That was the most extreme case though. Honestly just leave it for a while, the salt will pass.

Haha thanks man, I did the same yesterday, I kept my distance from the game and just login today to keep the streak and exit. Its much better this way.

I am the guy who made that thread, well that was more of an uncontrollable rant then a thread, I was quite pissed at that time coz I have spent multiple hours and have rolled extensively for Cu Alter, Gilgamesh, Mama Raiko and Scathach and didnt get any of them, And not getting Merlin pissed me off even and that build up just exploded. Not to mention I got SSR in JP just a day before with just 30 sq so it added even more to my frustration on the NA server.

The rates for this game are public knowledge so you already know what you're getting into. As someone on the opposite side of the luck spectrum to you 27 SSR excluding NP2s and playing for just under a year I can tell you now NA server looks great from my perspective. Point is just because you have terrible luck doesn't mean the NA server is 'trash'. Enjoy the game for what it is or quit :)

Hi! I'm the one who recommended to quit the game and i want to say i'm not angry about this and i love you.

After that necessary touching moment, i don't agree about people blaming themselves for something outside of their control...it has nothing to do with them. It's just how the gacha algorithm and low rates work, blaming yourself for rainy days is kinda stupid. Lucky people are the ones who interpret stuff as a lucky ocurrence, for example "i didn't rolled this servant" turns into "well that's a cue to stop playing this game and do something better with my time. Good thing this happened, i'm so lucky". That's a lot better than feeling like shit and rage for no reason, there are a lot of more worthful hobbies/activities out there that are not unfair.

About the "quit the game" advice, i think that's a good advice for a lot of people and i stand by it. You can laugh all you want, i assure you it's not hypocritical at all ;D

Yeah not gonna lie, I agree with you 100% about quitting the game. Objectively speaking it really does nothing for you. Speaking from personal experience, after a certain point it stops being all that much fun for the most part, and really the only enjoyment I get from it nowadays is from completing story quests (which are actually interesting and challenging) and getting new servants. When neither of those are happening, it feels almost more like a chore than leisure. That said, I still play this game anyway, obviously rationality and self-control is not a strength of mine right now lol

Thanks for the advise man, I actually took it seriously, I knew that it was genuinely aimed at improving my psyche. And you are right in that regard that if something makes you frustrated then its better to keep your cool by quitting and doing something productive rather than getting angry and lashing out.
Thanks again for the advise man, it really was helpful.
