but why is everyone slamming barbatos? simply because of it's drop or?

I've been playing for a year now

I rather meant new to this site.
Similar question have been asked the past days + it is mentioned in the Solomon guide, that he surely is going to be dead first, because of records of other servers. I read something that Japan killed him in about 3 hours and elsewhere after one day. All because of his drops. Since the apd for hearts are terrible in other nodes it is a good way to get them.

Because of its drops. Pages, Gears, Babies, but most of all, hearts. I for one am farming needles since I am hoping to grab gramps when he comes in and I still need 130 more T.T

pages and babies are a really nice bonus but barbatos is being slammed this hard because of hearts...while other materials have a free quest node where they can be farmed hearts can only be obtained via event and never in large quantities. That is why everyone goes crazy on the farming every time a node with good drop rates for hearts shows up.

Well, TECHNICALLY hearts can be obtained from Caster Training Grounds too (I even remember getting one or two after DW added new enemies somewhere after summer event) but... yeah, the rates are pure torture :'D
