The famed literary author, Murasaki Shikibu, is a Caster-class Servant that provides an AoE Arts-type Noble Phantasm with bonus damage against Demonic enemies and a 1-turn Buff Block effect, which can come in handy in fights with bosses that might otherwise use threatening self buffs. She also provides a plethora of effects, including DEF down against all enemies, NP Seal against a single enemy, a self 30% NP Gauge charge and self NP damage buff, while also providing to allies a Demonic damage boost, Damage Cut, Debuff immunity, and a 100% Buff Removal Resist buff. She is comfortably capable of looping her 6-hit Arts NP with the help of her own NP charge, which is further bolstered by support, which can be particularly effective given she has no Arts or ATK buffs of her own. Her damage is somewhat on the weaker side, although when placed against Assassin or Berserker waves, she will do fine. Against other classes, she may need higher NP levels to better deal with them (although she will do better versus Demonic trait enemies). She is a respectable addition to the roster, capable of covering multiple utility effects that a Master may need for a challenging encounter while being a respectable farmer.
