Semiramis receives a handy damage boost to her AoE Buster NP, pushing her damage up to levels in which she can farm dailies much more comfortably even at NP1. In theme with her NP's supportive effects, Hanging Gardens of Babylon post-upgrade will also provide all allies with a turn of 100% Buff Removal Resist, which can come in handy in certain challenge scenarios where enemies will remove buffs (such as with break bar effects), or when fielded with allies that have self buff removal demerits (such as fellow Assassin Yu Mei-ren). Overall her rank up provides welcome and effective boosts to her performance.

Passionlip also receives an NP damage upgrade, and although her NP's damage at level 1 can still be somewhat underwhelming even post-upgrade, the damage upgrade is enough to push her performance past thresholds required for farming of most daily cavalry waves. The secondary full party heal effect is also improved as well, with a 3000 HP heal at 100% charge, up to 7000 HP at 500% overcharge. The boost can help the party last longer with the help of Passionlip's own taunt and defensive kit. Her changes tweak existing effects rather than adding new ones to her arsenal, but are still welcome nonetheless.

Morph C, formerly rather underwhelming as a skill, receives an overhaul which allows the skill to be targeted to an ally, increases the DEF buff amount up to 30%, and adds the rare skill cooldown reduction effect. Masters with Edison now have an additional 1 turn skill cooldown reduction to work with in their roster, which can open up some interesting setups in combination with other skill cooldown effects (2 turns on the Atlas Academy Mystic Code, 1 turn from Altria Rider Alter, or 1 turn from Tamamo-no-Mae's NP). Thomas Edison now offers quite a few unique ways to support allies, making him a strong support contender for Servants with strong overcharge effects (from his third skill) or innately short skill cooldowns on self buffs that last multiple turns, which can benefit from his new skill cooldown reduction.

Beowulf receives an upgrade to his Intuition skill, gaining a Critical Star Gather Rate (up to 5000%, which is sufficient for Berserker star weight) and a Critical Damage buff (up to 50%), in addition to just slightly increasing the burst of stars provided by the skill by +1. With this upgrade, he gains respectable performance as a Crit Servant. This will only be further improved with his future Rank Up skill, which will also provide a 3-turn critical damage boost.

"No Second Strike" Li Shuwen's NP receives a damage buff and a slight increase to the DEF debuff inflicted by his NP, providing an overall offensive boost against single targets. With this NP upgrade, Li Shuwen sits at the highest damage for single target Lancers of his rarity (ignoring trait multipliers), making this upgrade a great boon for Masters with this martial artist in their roster.

Kiara receives a second skill upgrade that adds an AoE buff removal effect to her second skill, further increasing her utility across encounters. Buff removal effects on skills are always handy to have, since they are much easier to pop on demand in most cases, given they don't require a full NP Gauge. As an added bonus, the skill cooldown is reduced by a turn to 6 at max level, which increases the skill's effective availability (and making the DEF down effectively 50% uptime at max, given the debuff lasts 3 turns). This upgrade further enhances Kiara's overall utility in the roster.

The Innocent Monster's upgrade to The Little Mermaid's Love removes the DEF demerit entirely, and allows the buff to be targeted to an ally. In addition to the number of stars gained per turn being increased, the buff also increases the NP Gauge of an ally by up to 10% per turn for three turns, which further increases the potency of Andersen's already very solid supportive arsenal. Andersen did not have access to NP Gauge support prior to this upgrade, making this upgrade arguably one of the stronger in the batch.
