Is Xuanzang okay?

She is good at what se can do.

Yeeeahhh I feel ya buddy. On the positive side she's actually pretty good. I really like her because she's so well designed - her only job is really to spam her NP as much as possible, and she does that really well. She also has the highest atk out of all casters, and with how frequently she can use her NP her sustained DPS is practically unmatched among casters. In addition to that, she also has decent support utility in her party-wide NP gain buff + debuff immunity, which is a lot more useful than you'd think. Overall I'd call her one of the best offensive casters, perfect for dealing with assassin bosses. Really the biggest downside to her is that outside of assassins and berserkers, her damage is kinda low which isn't good for a DPS, but she's still reliable, so dw about it.

(BTW Waver + Tamamo both come back later this year so roll for them then)

1. That NP charge is really good(A black grail works really well on her, she can 1 turn most assassin mobs)
2. NP interlude coming this year really increases her damage
3. Her 3rd skill provides really great utility which work with almost any team comp(self stunners like tamamo cat and jeanne's stun can be negated as well).
4. Her 2nd skill isn't that great but it can be used to save any other servant in the team in a pinch or to increase her NP combined with her 3rd skill(not really recommended though).

I wanted to get Waver or Tamamo, but got her NP2... Should've gone for Assassins+Extras, as I don't have neither Jeanne nor Jack. However, I can't complain getting her two times in a row in GSSR banners. She is great, she can spam her NP like crazy thanks to her card set and first skill, and after the interlude she's gonna get in August, her NP will do 200% more damage and ignore defense buffs... so if you can pair her with double Merlin, you'll se Buddha's hands everywhere. Her third skill is also very useful due to the debuff immunity, and if you time it right, it can help a lot in a hard quest.
