One of the bosses is a male saber and he's supposed to be really hard so having her helps stall him out. And maybe for some other male bosses in the chapter too

Why euryale?
I see in every post people saying they already leveled euryale for camelot, but why is she so important for this chapter?

Because she has a ridiculous NP multiplier against male enemies, she's a 3* and is pretty easy to get, compared to Artemis and Orion, and Camelot has a fairly difficult Saber boss fight.

Gawain. You'll face him thrice, first fight, he has 80% damage reduction, second fight (the hardest one), he has 50% damage reduction and the last fight, he has 20%.
Also, he gas gimmick to gain 2 np gauge per turn, meaning, he will fire his NP every 2 turns or so (if he didn't spam his NP charge, that's it).

I wonder, what if I didn't raise Euryale? Will I be screwed? I main Jalter, Herc and Waver and my only max leveled archer is Atalante. I know the capabilities of Euryale and also have her at NP5 but I don't intend to raise her just because of Gawain. That same goes for Mash which I have max leveled but has only 6/6/6 skills.

I do intend to borrow at least Orion or Euryale. Though if I decided to max Euryale, I can borrow Tamamo for maximum efficiency.

You can do it with double Robin + support or billy the kid + support, you don't NEED euryale or Orion, but they make the fight basically meaningless since they are both focused on stalling/murdering male sabers/bersekers.
But hey, since you have her, you should level her, she's usefull for loads of fights besides Gawain, basically anything that is male and a saber/berseker. Levelling mashu is the same, you can never go wrong levelling best kouhai

This. Euryale is not part of the archer trinity tor nothing. Also, the enemies don't necessarily need to be sabers or zerks, as long as it isn't lancer, she will shoot them to death. Outside Gawain battles, she will be useful in the next Onigashima event, Heracles nerofest, Gudaguda 2 challenge quest, boss battles in Shinjuku, Agartha and Shimousa, and many more male bosses fights. People just love to emphasizes her deeds in Gawain battles because that was the first time she was found useful, in fact, she is good anywhere else with males.
And I agree with levelling Mashu, she is at least a Waver tier support.
Also, Jalter might works, with Merlin, but without Merlin, I don't know (Gawain's damage reduction is no joke, yeah, neutral damage would only deal so much to him, especially in the first fight where he has 80% damage reduction, even Euryale couldn't do more than 75k fully buffed). Herc works, with bond CE, he can solo Gawain as long as you are doing it quickly and carefully (the burn from his NP can reap 2 of Herc's lives in one turn, so watch out for that), or just put Herc as a backliner. For Gawain's battle you really just need a strong archer, Nyanta might works if you can buff her enough, but just take in mind that he has damage reduction, so, don't be surprised if her NP barely does any damage.

I have a bond 10 Herc. The reason I didn't raise Euryale yet is because if I rolled Raikou or Ibaraki, all of my embers will be used for either of them. Also once Atalante hits bond 10 (8 currently), she will be replaced by another archer. Robin Hood is supposed to be next in line but I will consider Euryale.
I will at least max Mash first skill for cooldown reduction. Thanks for the tips.
