Who should I save up for?

So, I know that there’s going to be a rate up on Jalter soon. But I’m not sure whether to go for her since the majority of my friends list basically have maxed out Jalters.

And a couple more servants to name that I’ve been kinda wanting are, Merlin, King Hassan, Gilgamesh, and Musashi. I know it’s not guaranteed that I will get any of these servants but I’m just not sure what to go for.

I already have 5 stars of casters, archers, and just one saber. But what would be best? I’m thinking Gilgamesh (if he even comes back) as I don’t have a good aoe archer besides Emiya

Hi!

Merlin, of course, is totally broken, but with Tamamo and Waver, it seems you have your bases covered. Gilgamesh is also always good--like, really good--and extremely handy to have, especially if your only AOE Archer is Emiya. In my opinion, those are the two to gun for. However, all of the ones you've mentioned are good. Since it seems like your only leveled sabers are AOE, Musashi may be useful.

Sorry, this is such a nonanswer! I think Gilgamesh has a rateup around the post-Halloween time, and Merlin's comes with the singularity after Babylon. Shimosa is later, so if you want Musashi, you can roll for the others and save up a little more for her. Personally, I'm saving for Caster Gilgamesh.

Cool! You actually helped me decide on it as I’ll try and go for Gilgamesh as I already have Tamamo and Waver; to cover for Merlin. I missed the last rate up for Gilgamesh, whenever that was.

But yeah, I don’t have any single target sabers, so I’ll probably try and roll for Musashi whenever she comes around. I’m glad that she’s quite a bit away as I can save for her.

I think if you check on the FGO wiki for Musashi she should actually be coming around New Years almost with a one day rate up for several limited servants like Gilgamesh (archer) and Illya. Based off of what JP version got anyways during their 2016/2017 transition.
