So from this recent Thanksgiving Banner, I got lucky and rolled Shuten. And so I know there’s going to be a banner(s) for the New a year which will include the different classes and such. That banner should include Jack (if I’m not mistaken).
So basically, if I were to roll Jack in the future on that banner, who would be the best overall?
I strongly prefer Jack. You may have 50% percentage for her in gssr
Shuten is more focusing on offensive support to other teammate. Her relative low NP damage and unreliable 1st skills make her not good to kill a rider boss.
So you probably still need Jack as major assassin DPS. And Jack is also versatile for others team, due to her excellent ability for star generation, and supportive 2-3 skills.
Okay, I was thinking the same thing. I was not expecting to get Shuten at all so it was a nice surprise. But yeah, if it’s anything like the previous banners where it will probably be Jack and Jeanne on a banner, then I honestly would be happy with either of them.

Also same to me with Shuten, I dont expect to have her (rather to roll the Tamamo CE) but NP2 and rarely use her. Now I have all SSR Assassins on hand. She worked decent as semi-support, similar role like Liz. But I even prefer to use dual Jack and put Cursed Arm Hassan in fight against Rider bosses.
I also use her team with Shiki+Kiritsugu as A-Q mixed assassins in fight against ST riders. But still, she is not answer to kill
While jack is better overall, i dont think that you need a second ssr assassin. If you don't have tamamo or waver, the caster roll would probably be better. I do think that the jack jeanne roll is second best roll tho
Shuten is better for farming duties, Jack is better for single target killing.
