Usually 'not wanting' the servant you're rolling for does the trick!

I was trying two placebos:
1. Triple 3-star cards from FP gacha
2. Great/Super Success on leveling servant/CE
Both failed.
Tomorrow I'm trying the right-after-maintenance method, hope it works

I've done the whole, roll on FP summon until you get 2 or 3 3-star CE or servants combined with mixed success, usually unsuccessful.
I used to have a lot of luck using summon tickets after super or great success while servant enhancing. Recently it's failed me. Using 3 SQ has never worked for me like a summon ticket with this method.
This time I'm gona watch streamers and wait until they've had a few good pulls in a row I think. Failing that I do have a 1 hour time slot which was lucky repeatedly recently but it's the hour just after maintaince is scheduled to end and I don't want to wait 23 hours lol

Single pulls is what I do when I'm rolling for something specific due to x10 wasting 3 quartz on that guaranteed 4* or greater craft essence, who cares about the 3* or greater guaranteed servant, the only reason to do x10 pulls is to save time or pull an event craft essence.

This is how I got Tamamo Lancer, Tamamo Caster, Jalter single pulling on their banners and I've never had more than 100 quartz and 10 tickets at one time.
