All 4/5 servants except welfare give rare prisms. So for instance everyone's favorite trap astolfo is worth a whole 1 rare mana prism

What is the rare prism shop for
So I had thought it was introduced so you could dump the extra copies of the wellfare servant in for something, but that isn't the case at all. What does give rare prisms? Is it just for the 5 star CE?

As you would have noticed, the Rare Prism Shop contains some of the Craft Essences and Mystic Codes that you would have missed. For example, if you missed your chance at getting Anniversary Blonde like I did, you have a chance to get it. You get Rare Prisms by burning any gold card servant, except for welfare servants like Chloe. So I guess, you'll have to burn any 6th+ copy of a gold servant.

You don't have to limit yourself to burning NP5 gold servants though.
The meta doesn't currently (or ever) favor
Astolfo, Stheno, and the good ol' Fionn
I would keep one copy to satisfy my collector's mindset, but if I really need the rare prisms, I wouldn't hesitate burning extras.

It's a whale shop. There are both limited items like the Crystallized Lore for 5 rare prisms that will disappear in 39 days as of today, and permanent items like the Heroic Portrait CE and Anniversary Blonde mystic code for those who never got them before.
