What to do?

Long story short, I bought quartz for the guaranteed gacha and used the extra ones to try and roll for Merlin; didn't work, now I have 30 quartz for the GSSR but I am considering using them to try one more time for Merlin.

What do you think I should do? I am aware of the chances of getting a five star outside of the GSSR but I'm not sure if I prefer to gamble on Merlin and let the guaranteed gacha pass.

Go for guaranteed. It’s a SSR, in any case and it’s guaranteed, so it’s better than a low chance of getting Merlin.

If you're not going to be getting any more SQ, GSSR for sure.

I know how you feel. I had some quartz saved up which I already used to try and roll for Merlin. I even spent a little more money last night and tried a couple more times to roll for him. Even still, I've made sure to keep my last 30 paid quartz untouched so that I can roll on the guaranteed gacha tomorrow.

I think I have something like 39 "Paid" Quartz left at this point, but I've given up on Merlin coming to my Chaldea at this point.

I'm a skeptic, so I would say save for the guarantee...

Merlin is good, but why not try and get someone you really like on the GSSR and instead just have the useless bum help from someone's support? (besides, means you don't have to put effort into Merlin :p)
