If you transfer from one device to another, you can only play on the device where your account was transferred to, so one device. However, if you copied your data from one device and transferred it to another, you can still play on both devices because it's not an account transfer but rather a file transfer.
You can transfer your account as many times as you want. The game will generate a new transfer code each time.
I have one account and play on two separate phones. If I close out of a quest before finishing it, the other phone will not continue the quest even though AP was consumed. Therefore, I have to finish the quest on the phone that started it.
